Slipper Genie: Mop Floors While Burning Calories

Cleaning the floor doesn't have to be boring... or back-breaking. Check out these babies.
Although apparently they only come in women's sizes. According to one review:
"THis is such a GREAT idea! My only concern is that you only have "women" sizes and no men sizes available. Is this meant to suggest that its still a 'woman's job' to clean the house even when BOTH are working fulltime?"
If that doesn't do it for you - maybe try some Krispy Kreme Grass Flip Flops -- which looks to me like an obscenely clever way to make people buy more donuts (it seems to be part of an advertising campaign).

Nice novelty though do you think that you would get into your fat burning zone wearing those ?
Replybut why grass flip flops? what benefit is walking on grass-clad flip flops?
ReplyI want to wear those grass flip flops so badly just so I can watch people's reactions.
ReplyI love the feeling of walking barefoot on grass, so I think the grass flip flops are fabulous (although I'll probably just continue walking barefoot). I agree that the cleaners should be available in men's sizes, although my husband wouldn't get much use out of them. ;) I figured it's a trade-off, since I've never mowed our grass.
ReplyThose mop slippers are dangerous. They're kind of fun to wear once, but if the floor is at all slippery, you could break a bone falling.
ReplyWow...I have never seen such a thing. Personally, I just play tug of war with my dog and then drag her via a towel around the room. Sister has a good grip, and it cleans the hardwoods great! ;)
ReplyI kind of already have something like this rigged up: I spray the hardwood floor cleaner onto my floor and then put two dishtowels on the floor and step on them and sort of skate around the kitchen to clean the floor. It works, but it's a bit streaky sometimes.
ReplyThis is kind of funny, because I slide around on my floor when wearing socks anyway. Obviously I'm not cleaning the floor when I do this, so I'm not as productive as people who do wear these slippers. But, I could see this being an alternative form of exercise for people to do while mopping their floor.
Replylove popgloss as well. and SO WANT those mopflops.
I know.
they dont work Im sure and I COULD create my own---but I still want em.
ya'll should do a give away!
ReplyMy mom bought me a pair as a joke because I am constantly cleaning. She bought them at Bed, Bath, and Beyond.
ReplyI'm thinking one good slip wearing those mop flip-flops and one MIGHT break one's back!
They look fun, but also potentially dangerous. And realistically, won't they just get gross grimy dirty underneath and stop looking cute? In my house, they'd be attracting all the cat dust bunnies, ugh. Walking around on a wad of cat fuzz isn't my idea of "cool".
But I may *NEED* the grass flip flops!
