Gift Ideas for the Diet Conscious
It's that time of year again - the time when the credit card gets a hammering and the shops get chaotic. Gift guides are being sent out thick and fast - so why not have one more...?
I perused through Amazon's massive gift guide and picked out some interesting items.

It's better than sending out a bunch of sugary candies (free shipping).

Everyone I know that looks after their diet has a George Foreman grill. Perfect for cooking those skinless chicken breasts.

Okay - so it's pretty expensive - but as I said in this post - where would you be without your headphones? Essential for making cardio just a bit more do-able.

We were given a pedometer as a gift. Clip it onto your belt and they count how many steps you've taken. Even our (exercise-averse) young daughter thought it was cool and wanted to get as "higher score" as possible. Even if it's not a 'serious' item for you - it's intriguing to find out how active you are during a typical day..

If you can't eat it - then bath in it. "This bubble bath, enriched with pure organic cocoa, soothes your skin while letting the stress melt away. It produces huge, long lasting bubbles enhanced with the scent of chocolate."

I love my George Foreman grill. We got one for our wedding and it's great. You can grill almost anything in it...I grill sliced peppers, onions and mushrooms. Or tuna sandwiches.
I want that chocolate milk bubble bath. That sounds so incredibly rich and luxurious. It's definitely going on my wish list.
ReplyMy father has the Foreman grill. He uses it practically every night.
I'm considering the ipod now. Wait a minute; I got an mp3 player last year. I'd better go see if I can dig it up...
Replytry theneversurrendercompany.com...great stuff to keep dieters, like me, motivated!!! woohoo! never surrender!!! especially throught the holidays!!
ReplyI love my Foreman grill. I have the tiny one, but it is more than enough for my family of 2. I use it at least 4x a week, and it hardly uses any electricity (this was a concern for me, cause the grill I had before used a lot of it).
I also love my MP3 player, but I'm anti-Apple. I recommend the Creative Labs players for people who don't want to have to install a ton of software and learn how to use them, just to be able to load your MP3 player.
