No one seems to be commenting about how people have stopped doing cardio with ankle weights years ago since it’s terrible for your knees.

The whole outfit is June-Cleaver-meets-80s aerobics class. Bizarre.

I don’t see much wrong with the moves, but it seems like it would get kind of dull. If you’re going to walk or run, walk or run. If you’re going to dance, dance.

Good point Rachel. Did you see that she was just featured in John Meyer’s new music video? She certainly is getting her 15 minutes of fame with all that prancing! 🙂

    I wouldn’t laugh at this….

When I was really heavy and discouraged I would play one of my exercise DVD’s and basically just prance or step to the music instead of doing the exercises. I told myself “Just keep moving, it’s better than nothing” and in a few weeks I progressed to the real exercises.

That’s a great way to look at it O. It’s just important for people to move and however they choose to do it should be congratulated.

Are you all really not commenting on her sweater-and-pearls gig… Or the white cameltor pants??? People definitely come in all strokes 🙂

I do believe I’d get my ass kicked by some punks in the neighborhood if they saw me trying something like this. Maybe I’d try it in my basement or something, but in public? Nah.

I think the cardio benefits really kick in when the local toughs start chasing you….

Yes! Could you imagine being chased while wearing ankle weights? It would be like one of those dreams where you are trying to run but your legs feel so heavy…

This is not how I would want to get attention at a park.

I would love to see someone doing this at the park and I may even do it, but only if someone paid me enough! 🙂
