Is Your Cup of Coffee Cheating You?

By Ted

Looks like not all cups of coffee are at all created equal.

If it’s caffeine that you are looking for, then you might as well get your money’s worth.

I seldom buy coffee out, but almost always make my own. If I do, I usually will pick Peet’s first and then Starbucks because I do want the best bang for my buck.

How about you? Does this graphic cause you to rethink your coffee shop preference?

Is there really such a thing as Deathwish coffee?? This definitely validates my feeling that Starbucks makes me more awake!

I don’t like coffee with that much caffeine in it–it makes me sick to my stomach. You can also control how much caffeine you get if you buy the whole beans and grind it either coarser or finer. But I think we can all agree that McD’s coffee is pure crap. I think it’s just dirty dishwater in a cup, lol.

I would agree and it’s strange how their coffee is pretty good in New Zealand and Australia since they have real coffee shops attached to their restaurants. Not sure why they don’t replicate that in America. I guess they figure that they can’t compete with Starbucks etc.

They have one of those in Chicago! The regular McD’s is on the main floor and the coffee shop is on the second floor. More selections and, yes, way better coffee. I used to go there a lot when I worked nearby but now I’m pretty far away and it’s the only one I know of like that.
