Exercise With Walking Poles

I'm in Wisconsin and I have found that walking with walking poles is my favorite form of exercise. I can listen to the birds or my tunes, and be in nature, not a sweaty gym. Walking with the poles have made my upper body stronger and my posture has improved.

Have you ever tried them?

    I haven't tried them but i have tried this weird resistance band contraption. It's called a power-walker or something. it provides resistance in both directions when you're raising up your arms and when you bring them back down.

    Love walking poles! I can go longer and faster with them. Fortunately, poles are getting more popular now, and I'm not the only "dry skier" on the road anymore. Haven't done it in a couple years. Thanks for reminding me of a past pleasure. It's high time I dug them out again!
