was researching safflower oil and came across this site and wanted to share what i know about safflower oil.
I too, bought the w.w. magazine with that article about losing weight on that oil. Two yrs. ago, i lost 20 lbs. taking tonalin cla and have since gained back 10 lbs. but that was my fault, i let it slip up on me.
i started with the oil 3 weeks ago, have had no problems at all taking it, no loose stools at all. i also take green tea supp. i can tell i have lost a little in the way my jeans fit in the stomach. i take mine in the morning with breakfast. i have noticed i don't get hungry for a long time, but i was thinking it was because of the protein i was eating at breakfast (2 eggs cooked in microwave) natural pb and banana. i have always taken fish oil supplements, too.
does anyone think that is to much oil going into my system?

I really wouldn't know. I guess a loose stool would tell if you had to much oil LOL
But I will say that the same magazine mentioned the benefits Tonalin CLA in a January 2009 issue.
Now a year later, in the Safflower oil article they say that the straight oil or the supplement used in the Ohio St. study is better than Tonalin.
You got the mag? Did you see that?
Replyi think don't be too much oil
ReplyGreen tea can aid in speeding up the metabolism so I here. The fish oil is wonderful for weight loss, so I have heard.
Supposedly there are proven benefits for fish oil and weight loss? I don't know that it's really true! I have read about it.
a recent studies on fish oil for weight loss, fat burning and depression show that people who get the most fish oil with DHA can burn more fat and have less obesity. They also weigh less and have less depression while dieting than those who get the least amount of fish oil.
My trainer had me on fish oil as I was getting ready for a pageant. I felt it help somewhat.
