What are your goals? At 5' 7", your weight range is perfectly normal and healthy. Typically guys your age are in the process of growing, and need more calories. Are you trying to stay consistent? Gain muscle mass? Get more toned?
You need to eat more than what you currently are; 1020 calories is starvation level for you, and its not healthy.
Don't necessarily pay attention to how many calories you eat. I have a 12 year old daughter and I don't let her count calories. Pay attention to what you eat. You can find what exactly you need fruit and veg wise on the internet. Are your parents overweight? Are you active, play sports, ride your bike??
I agree with some of the other commenters that that is not enough calories - even for an adult to maintain weight (and you are at a perfectly normal weight), that would not be enough. But at your age, you are likely to grow several more inches in the next few years, and need more calories (as well as protein, vitamins, etc) to fuel that growth! Just be sure that you don't increase by stocking up on junk food. Talk to your parents about what foods you should eat more of (they know your current diet better than we do) and see if you can take an active part in your family's grocery shopping.
I would be starving on that many calories a day. it's not about the calories but the quality of your foods. reduce processed foods, sugars.
don't be concerned with your weight until late teens. your body will be going through a lot of changes. do a bit of exercise like walking, push ups, squats, a few times a week. it's good to start a healthy active lifestyle while you're young.
Assuming u are totally sedentary/ inactive u need about 1800 calories a day.
