How Much Protein Do I Need?

How much protein should I consume when I am losing weight? I am 196 lbs and I am 42 years old and 5'2 tall. Please help

    89g a day minimum - approximately 13-ounces of meat, fish, poultry or other equivalents (ie. an egg = 1 ounce)
