New Mum and Trying to Refocus

I am a proud first time mom. I have a beautiful nine month old son. I lost weight during my pregnancy, but I gained weight after I had him. I know that it might sound strange to some, but it happens.

I have seen numerous articles about eating the right kinds of foods, but it becomes overwhelming. I have given up diet soda and try to control what I eat. I just started back exercising this week, and I am increasing my water intake.

I think it is great to communicate with other people who are struggling with their weight issues.

Any support and advice would be appreciated!

    Hi New Mum

    I am in the same position (my little one is 10 months old)! Only I did put weight on during the pregnancy not after. It has been a real struggle for me too - i have only just managed to get my weight back to where I was when I got pregnant but it has not been easy.i have found for me the hardest part is the nutrition discipline. At least you are conrolling what you eat etc,a dn with a bit of exericse you should start to get some results.

    I found a website The Body Fat Loss Answer that has a load of good articles on body fat loss - it may help you out.
