I tend to agree with Lemontree. People do in fact judge you based on weight. When I quit smoking, I put on a large amount of weight. People loved telling me how fat I got..As if I didn't already know! There definitely are people who won't talk to someone because of how they look, and those are people you don't want in your circle anyway. As for the tough love. I agree with it to SOME degree. Everyone needs moral support, positivity helps in a big way, start from there... everything in life takes time, small changes sometimes slower but it happens (cutting down food intake, walking etc.) Give yourself a goal: a period of time, resist some things and gain more power when you take control and think positive. Sometimes it's not the number on your scale, but what the mirror says....
