  I would actually recommend trying a 1 day fast (No longer! Aside from being potentially rather unhealthy, you'll kill your metabolism if you do it longer). I did that to jump start my weight loss and i did lose 5 lbs in three days. The problem is I continued with 'extreme dieting' afterwards an now my metabolism is dead in the water. So if you want to give this a go, only do it for the one day. If you want to continue your weight loss, you can lower your calories the following days, but try to get back on...
