Frankly, I think it's hypocritical. Much of the reason Americans have the weight problems they do is because of the way the FDA has let corporate lobbyists make food that is no longer food and filled with chemicals and hormones....

Yes, and I'll be starting induction after Labor Day (I am preparing for it by trying some things now, so I won't cheat during the 8 week induction). I look forward to reading other people's responses to the program....

I also read about this diet in Woman's World. (love this little magazine--quick read, fun stuff!) I bought the book and have been staying faithful for more than week. However, I'm not losing any weight. I admit I do fill fuller, longer...no cravings. First three days were no harder than any other diet. Hoping it works soon as I need feedback to stay motivated. Otherwise, it's just another diet that I can't stick with....

Hi Julie, I have really appreciated reading your posts. I have started on the first phase of the Metabolism miracle diet with good results so far.On reading your post you said that you kept a dairy of all you eat so as to watch fat intake etc. You may want to check out www.sparkpeople.com it is a great free site that enables you to track all the foods you eat plus exercise and gives you daily breakdowns of all the foods you input into calories carbs proteins fats fibres vitamins minerals etc. Just thought you may find that helpful...

I just started the MM diet three days ago, might as well call it "last chance diet". In the past I never had problems losing weight, heck I wouldn't even diet I would just work out and I was in tip top shape. After I had my first child I lost the weight without a problem after my second child it took a little more effort but I still did it. Then for some reason things changed and I started gaining weight. I was working out five days a week I ate the right type of bread and pastas but...

Its foods you can have but you need to be careful about the carb servings....
