Salad vs. Big Mac: Which Has More Calories?

Perhaps you've been eating healthily, switching your usual fast-food lunch for a salad from a supermarket.

If you haven't been seeing the results you'd like, it could be because that innocent-sounding salad contains more calories and fat than a Big Mac.

Milk Better Than Fruit Drinks at Reducing Hunger

Flickr: tillwe

Milk is gross. It makes me sick. And honestly, I don't know why people drink it. We don't need it. Milk is for baby cows, not humans.

Now, even though I don't like milk, it's got to be better than sugary fruits drinks, right? Make no mistake, fruits drinks are not the same as fruit juice. Juice is fresh squeezed. Drink comes in a jug marked "grape".

Vitamin D Improves Dieting and Weight Loss

Flickr: **Mary**

Do you get enough vitamin D? Better still, do you even know where to get vitamin D from? I'll give you a hint - look up! No, it's not in the ceiling fan. It comes from the sun. Inside Look at Lamar Odom's Candy Addiction

Lamar Odom is a candy addict! Remember last week, we learned that the Los Angeles Lakers power forward fuels his body on mini-candy bars and Gummy Bears. He says eating candy before games helps him play better.

SAME Café: Pay Only What You Can Afford

Without a doubt the SAME Café is a unique concept rarely heard of in today's society. In fact, it's the only café (as far as I know) having no prices on the menu, and were customers simply pay what they can afford for the food.

It probably sounds like something out a movie, but in fact you can find this amazing place in Denver. Brad and Libby Birky, who run the café, had previously worked in various shelters and soup kitchens before deciding to take a chance and open the SAME Café.

Rotten Office Food Sickens 28 Employees!

2Dolphins

Go open your office refrigerator right now. I bet there's a dried out faccia bread sandwich, a wilted chef's salad and a Yoo-Hoo, circa 1979-ish.

Actually, don't look! Because your boss may ask you to clean it out and your health benefits probably don't include hazard pay.

That's why you got to feel for the 28 employees of a San Jose, California office building who were overcome by the fumes from old rotting food.
