Replydetroit rock city - KISS always gets me going in the morning!
ReplyGood call! Not sure how I missed KISS.
ReplyOne single tape (hint there about what decade...) that keeps me moving all the way through: 1984 Olympics teams' Wow, they were/are so great, especially the basketball and boxing themes. And I still find "Rocky" to be a great motivator. Now I'm off to find a copy of your suggestions in the playlists!
ReplyAre you still rockin' a yellow sony walkman to play that tape? Rocky soundtrack probably will not be left out of my movie soundtrack mix : )
ReplyGreat list! I love the Ting Tings and my husband is a big fan of Loverboy. And you gotta love Heart...very "girl-power".
ReplyI am loving the 80's!!! Like KISS too! Like Pat Benatar & Scandal too.. I could mix them up!
ReplyLOL! The 80's always get me going! For some reason, it's very motivational.
ReplyAll about the 80's! Those jams always pump me up! Eye of the Tiger by Survivor is one of my favorite running songs..ever! And anything from the hairband, glam rockers too :)
ReplyThank you for giving newer bands like the Ting Tings and Metric some love! I'll be sure to look up some of the older songs. I might find some new songs I like (new to me songs :D)
ReplyYou are welcome! Although I don't consider myself very savvy when it comes to the newer stuff.
Hmmm... I'm surprised you aren't as familiar with 80's music given your moniker ; )
