The Shake Weight: Absurd or Inspired?
"The Shake Weightâ„¢ is a unique fitness device that effectively and dramatically sculpts arms, a major problem area for many women, while burning calories."
That's what the PR says. In reality? I'll leave you to be the judge of this $20 product - and I'll keep my comments to myself.
For some sick reason, this looks like something that women would buy as a substitute for shaking their kids violently. I'm wondering if that was the idea behind it or not...still not worth my money.
Reply...Or for shaking me violently *rawr* ;)
This video is going to be passed around to all my guy friends. Actually screw it... all my female friends as well.
I specially like this quote:
"Big heavy exercise machines are designed to create BULKLY muscles"
HAHAH... what a load of Horses**t! I think I'll send them an email and suggest they shoot themselves. Damn, I work SO hard. It's ridiculous.
ReplyI guaranty you she did not get that body & arms from that device!!!! Do some push-ups, some bicep curls & side raises or shoulder presses with anything you have at home & it will not cost you $20! Give me a break!
Replywow... have to agree with FitJerk... this looks far from working out and closer to something a bit more um, more private? hehe
ReplyHa! That was funny! Thanks for the laugh. :) There is no way they are getting that muscle definition with 6 minutes of 'shaking' a day. A $20 waste of money!
ReplyHow stupid can people get... And pay $20 just to continue doing NOTHING instead of finally getting an ass from the couch and go running, doing push-ups or smth :).
Replybesides that what else to use this tool
ReplySadly, there are many people out there who will buy this device, the same people who buy every piece of crap out there. Ignorance is bliss.
ReplyThis is dumb but no more so than the legions of women (and some men) around the country that do nothing but cardio.
ReplyIt's true that doing "just cardio" is not the best way to get a well rounded work out- but any human alive with a lick of sense would agree that it's still better than doing nothing at all.
