Hardee's Breakfast Burrito

Another testament to gluttony:

Hardee's presents the Country Breakfast Burrito.

Total Calories: 920
Carbohydrates: 51g
Protein: 42g
Fat: 60g
Saturated Fat: 23g
Cholesterol: 500mg
Sodium: 1970mg

And I always thought that 'wraps' were a healthier choice.

Hardee's love to make this sort of thing. Chow down on the Monster Thickburger with Fries and Coke and you take in 2200 Calories.

The fat amount in that is terrifying. Of course, the sheer size of it is scary - quite a lot of food for breakfast even if it is good for you ( the fact that it's unhealthy only makes it worse)

Wow! That's all I have to say. 920 calories and 51 grams of fat for breakfast?! That's just wrong. :)

I look at it this way. They are warning you before you eat it. Nothing hidden here.
Keep in mind no one is making you buy it.

I would have ate something like this years ago because my next and last meal was 15 hours later.

It never ceases to amaze me that people believe fast food joints should be health food places.

Remember we live in a free country.

ha, i saw this on someone elses blog too. that thing looks good but it can only clog yoru arteries. that one burrito can feed a family of 4. well, maybe of 3.

that sure looks yummy. but if i ever ate one, i wouldn't eat for the rest of the day. that one burrito is equivalent to one and a half big macs. crazy!

I might eat something like this, but cut it in half. However, even at half the fat is too high.

Egads, that looks disgusting. When I overindulge at breakfast time, it makes me feel yucky for the whole rest of the day. Unless you're a farmer out in the fields, working with your hands instead of riding a tractor, you don't need this. The idea that breakfast should be a huge pig fest? It originated on farms where the workers DID need calorie dense breakfasts. People who sit at their desks all day really don't.

It looks like vomit rolled up in a tortilla. Ewwww. Gimme poached eggs on toast or an omelette ANY day.

I would, in fact, make that myself and eat it. The only difference is that I would use real food ingredients.

It's not the macronutrient or calorie count that scares me. It's the ingredients list. Fast food is more of a science project than a meal.

How much do you weigh? You must not exercise because your body would need more calories. Or you are anorexic.

This burrito is evil and I eat 4500 calories a day!

Impressive. I'm kinda grossed out by the fact that it has gravy in it. Ick.

Yeah, I saw this on another blog and it really grossed me out. It's almost like you have to try to get that many calories into one burrito. Yikes.

Wow! The density of this breakfast meal is insane but it looks so good. Every time I go out to eat it usually consist of egg omletes or something with a lot of protein. Hopefully people learn the amount they are eating as overeating is the reason for obesity in our world.

Wow! That's a lot of carbohydrate -- at 51 grams, that's nearly two whole ounces (28 grams = 1 ounce).

All these empty calories (in the form of sugar and starch carbohydrate) are what's causing our health and obesity problems.

A thousand calorie breakfast wrap. That is unbelievable. I am amazed at how many different types of fast food outlets there are in the US.
