Hugo: Super-Size Soda

McDonald's have long been touting "healthy options". I've always wondered if it was nothing more than elaborate window dressing. The real money is in the burgers, fries, and sodas.
McDonald's have been trialling a super-sized soda called "Hugo". 42 ounces (1.24 liters) and 410 Calories.
But didn't they drop Super-size items years ago?
After the bad publicity from Spurlock's SuperSize Me - McDonald's shied away from the supersize label.
So now they've called it Hugo. And apparently it's not supersized. From McDonald's spokesperson:
“That’s not what this is about,” she said. “You have to put it in context with the rest of our menu.”
Huh?
In some outlets, the drink sells for just 89 cents. Which is of course, substantially cheaper than bottled water.
Don't be fooled. Fast food outlets profit by selling junk food. All the "healthy salads" talk is nothing but PR fluff. And since we're telling it like it is: chugging down a 42 ounce drink is gluttony.
yeah, diet has chemicals in it, which will probably cause cancer. lets throw 40+ oz of cancer causing chemicals into your mouths, along with a big juicy clogged artery. yummy!
