How to Display a Picture in Your Comments
I've finally enabled avatars / pictures for commenters.
Here's how you do it.
- Go to a site called Gravatar.
- Follow the instructions by entering your email (make sure it is the same email address that you use for your diet-blog.com comments!).
- Once registered you can upload a picture.
- On Gravatar you can then crop and edit your picture.
- Make sure you rate your picture as G (General)!
- After a few hours, all your comments should have your avatar attached.
Don't be shy.

ReplyHi Jim... Can't see your piccy on firefox or IE7. Is it me? What is image rating? cheers
ReplyMike.
Try Pressing Ctrl-F5 to a full refresh of the page. Their could be some old caching going on.
ReplyOh yeah. Image rating is something you set when you upload your picture into Gravatar.
ReplyI can't see anything, either.
ReplyHey Man, where did you go?
ReplyTake the cap off, Jim. It's hard to see your face.
ReplyIt's useful.
ReplyI wish I could removce a picture. I made a mistake and accidently labeled ir "X rated" and then couldn't fix it. I had to delete my account and begin again.
ReplyOK, this is just a test comment to see if my avatar shows.
:-)
ReplyThis is a pretty cool plugin. I'm going to try it out on my blog.

ReplyLet's see if this works...
ReplyWell, you know how we hate to ask for directions, BUT, I got two pictures into the system but have no idea how to got from there to the gravitar. When I uploaded the pictures and clicked to get to the cropping part it just gave me a black screen without any options. Hey, I think I recognize that corner from the last time I drove by???
ReplyFrom memory I didn't need to do any cropping. You gotta work it out because we're keen to see your pic :-)
ReplyI've gravatar enabled too. Here's mine.
ReplyTesting the gravatar function...
ReplyTesting this out. Hey, it's me at 180! I should put up the me at 260 one from a year and a half ago for a laugh. :)
ReplyThanks for the avatars!
