What are they doing with that much Lucozade? Do they have constant diarrhea? I don't wanna be too graphic, but seriously.
Replyobviously not really bad diarrhea cos andrex is only no.7
ReplyI have to admit the Lucozade surprised me too. It's not very big here but flavoured water is so I'm guessing that's what the Lucozade trend is.
ReplyI can understand #5.
ReplyI am very surprised that tea isn't on that list
ReplyThat is a good point. I'm gonna go with vomiting, then. Considering how much they love alcohol, I guess it makes perfect sense. Mystery solved.
Talia, I'd have guessed Ribena would be on the list. They do love their very sweet juice, preferably Blackcurrant flavor. Lucozade must be used for hangovers.
Replyi'm from the UK, and nobody i know drinks that much lucozade
jan, nobody here drinks that much ribena either
ReplyLucozade is sold as energy boosting drinks, bars, and powders. It's no worse than cola, Gatorade, muffins, danish pastries, chocolate milk, milkshakes, Baby Ruths, or squeezing fat legs into spandex leggings.
It's not commonly used for hangovers.
Robinsosn don't make soda.
Replyrobinsons make diluting juice...not soda
ReplyThe Brits are infamous for their bad teeth, the list expalins alot. The list for the US would be sugar, hydrogenated fats, and caffine. Which would explain the obesity, heart atttacks, and mood disorder drugs. But hey both countries need to keep the pharmaceuticals in business.
ReplyRemember that this data includes all convenience stores and dairies etc. Ever hung around a corner store right after school finishes? The brand list is hardly surprising.
Replyi get the impression that everyone thinks badly of the health of brits :s
ReplyCoca Cola is pretty big everywhere, I think. Not ALL British eat that way, I'm sure, but then again not all Americans eat pizza and french fries all the time either. I can see how TP made the list though...everyone needs that. Same with flour and staples like that.
Replyi LOVE dairy milk!! yumm
ReplyThe Brits are infamous for their bad teeth? Don't confuse the artificially whitened and weekened teeth of Americans with stronger, healthier natural coloured teeth. Also, porcelain veneers that many Americans have may look nice but they are usually covering bad teeth. In short, don't confuse the superficially enhanced teeth of Americans with healthy teeth.
ReplyIf it is not used for hangovers, then I'm even more confused. And Laura, kids everywhere drink a lot of sweetened juice, although adults normally don't.
ReplyJust heard that Lucozade (GlaxoSmithKline) are spending US$16.2 million on a marketing push for Lucozade in the UK
ReplyYou can not take lucozade if you have diarrhea!
