Cellubike: The Cellulite Burning Bicycle

cellubike.jpgCellulite – the dimply skin plagues up to 90 percent of women, Hollywood actresses included. There are some surgical procedures you can try, but these are very expensive and some require multiple treatments. Over-the-counter remedies have no guarantee and will at best provide temporary results.

Enter...the Cellubike?

The Cellubike is the newest thing in exercise equipment. While you pedal at 75 percent of your maximum heart rate, the infrared lights focus on "problem areas" and penetrates the skin to allow the cellulite to soften and increases blood flow. Your accelerated metabolism, along with the cardiovascular activity, forces the cellulite to be eliminated through the bloodstream. It also promises to eliminate various toxins that have accumulated in your body.

According to the website:

"You will see these residues leaving your system through the sweat glands as well as your excretion system within several hours after a session. "
Not a pleasant thought!

The Cellubike website has the usual glowing testimonials, as well as before-and-after pictures that appear to have just been taken in different lights. It's been featured on Good Morning America and ABC's The View.

You can use the Cellubike at its new weight loss centers, located in California, Utah, Nevada and Texas.

I am speechless! It is absurb and that is the best I can say. In the long run the surgery would probably be cheaper. At least you are paying for a sure thing.

What "residue" will leave my glands that will reduce cellulite? Will fat be dripping off my glands? That would lead to a whole new set of gym rules: "Please use bleach on medical waste after using equipment".

I love how they are perpetuating the idea that cellulite is caused by "toxins". If it were, you could just sauna yourself cellulite-free, you wouldn't need an infrared bike. The "residue" would drip off your glands there too.

I love the hand-waving in the FAQ about Certified Technicians, micron-length infrared energy, and endocrine glands.

HAHAHAHA! This is the funniest thing ever :) If you need a special bike to reduce cellulite, that's news to my thighs. I lost all my cellulite by running. And most people have cellulite, it's just a fat deposit. In fact, my husband doesn't even know what cellulite is and HE even has it on the sides of his tummy.

I don't know what to say but this bike looks pretty cool. I don't believe it but hey, the bike looks cool. If this is for real and actually works than the creator is going to make a ton of money.

More like the CelluBILK. What a sham! That bike looks like something that is used to travel through time with one of those flux capaciters from the Back to the Future movies. And Before and After photos? WORST. PHOTOSHOP. JOB. EVER. Even my untrained eye can see that a filter was used to add cellulite to the subjects. Wow.

It's so reassuring to see spelling mistakes on a website that purports to be scientifically authoritative. The first graphic on the FAQ page refers to the "subcuntaneous" fat layer...yikes!

Subcuntaneous? Why can I not stop laughing? That's a scream! Reply
On the road to my PhD

This is probably the stupidest scam i have ever read about. You don't need a "cellubike" to get rid of fat- a normal bike gets the job done pretty well in my opinion. And I am gagging and the thought of pooping out cellulite. You know these people are cellubiking and then examining their poop for like a week afterwards.

Congrats on working on your PHD.....That takes a lot of time & hard work.....just wondering if it is a medical PHD?

Most people in the medical field know that you not only "burn" fat but when it is released you excrete it & it comes out in your stool, not to be gross but "it floats" when it has fat in it.....I know "too much info"...Sorry....LOL..

There is other information about this machine that was not mentioned in this article....

Someone mentioned that they got rid of their cellulite by running or riding a regular bike; that is awesome & extrememly hard work; however what was not mentioned in this article is that this machine burns fat, somewhere in the range of, 5 times faster....which is something most women would LOVE....

I would love to see some official studies of this product because if this works, who knows it may show up in all the Curves, Jenny Craig's, & Gold's Gyms....I bet there were a few people that thought The StairMaster was a stupid idea too....or that the TreadMill was a complete waste, after all your just walking in place, what good is that right?

Who knows.....I hope it does work....(I could use a few sessions) LOL!!!

But... but... it has infrared technology!!! And by the way, does infrared affect menstruation somehow? I noticed in the FAQ that you can't use this wonderful bike when you're on the rag!

"INFRARED HEAT IS SO SAFE; IT IS USED TO WARM PREMATURE BABIES."

THANK GOD FOR THAT! All my worries are gone.

I can't stop laughing at subcuntaneous.

I recently tried a "free trial" at the flower mound, tx location and it seemed ok, until I questioned the owner about how exactly it melts the fat away and how many sessions it normally takes.
She got really defensive and said that I was asking some unusual questions that no one had ever asked before. The most unusual question I asked was " how exactly does it melt away the cellulite" ? I don't think that line of questioning is strange, do you ?
I'm glad I didn't waste my money on something that the owner can't even reassure potential clients about how it actually works.

It's funny how people like everything that's new and trendy. Why not just ride a bike outdoors and enjoy some fresh air in the process?

As strange as this may sound, I have lost more than a stone in about 5 weeks from manic cardio workout, detox dieting, drinking 2-3 litres of water a day AND toning exercises. BUT the cellulite is still there and now to top it all off my self esteem has been virtually destroyed to the point where i think i'm on the verge of having an eating disorder. So someone please tell me what more i can possibly do to get rid of the cellulite? And ps. i know someone said 'surgery' would work better, but hello they use infrared light in endermologie too you know. And why on earth do you people think scientists and nutritionists say drinking lots of water will help remove 'toxins' from your body? it's because you're pissing/ crapping it out! I think this bike would probably work if given a fair try and some dedication, but then again how much would it cost? lol just stick with body wraps then (Y) Oh and does anyone actually know how much the surgical treatment costs? I would very much like to eat some form of carbs sometime soon =/
