LA Weight Loss: Caught Out Again

One of the most heavily commented posts on Diet-Blog was about LA Weight Loss and their underhanded sales tactics. Comments were overwhelmingly critical of this weight loss clinic (however there were some occasional positive testimonials).

LA Weight Loss has been caught out again - and must pay out $100,000 in refunds to misled customers.

The Attorney General's office used "under-cover" shoppers to investigate LA Weight Loss and found a:

"classic bait-and-switch routine in which employees pushed the sale of protein bars and nutritional supplements after consumers had enrolled in the program," (source)
LA Weight Loss also claimed that their protein bars would "prevent you from getting saggy, baggy skin when you lose weight," - a complete load of nonsense.

Consumers who believe they were misled when they enrolled in the LA Weight Loss program between Dec. 23, 2005, and Aug. 31 2006 may request a refund within 30 days. Get the full details here (in sidebar).

NOTE: This refund is only available to Washington State residents.

UPDATE: LA Weight Loss now offer an "at-home" program. The program includes access to an on-line community, customized meal programs, 4 weeks of LA Nutritional Bars, and samples of best-selling products -- total cost $219.

This is just a short post to address the five or so people that email us every week about LA Weight Loss closing down and not being able to get a refund.

We aren't affiliated with LA Weight Loss and we don't have any contact information for them. We are sorry that you have been a victim in whatever is going on with the company. wow, I wish I had come across this site a few hours ago. I just signed up for LAWL today and already I am having buyer's remorse. I wanted to lose about 110lbs which cost me $626 without all the additional crap. I am definitely going to get a refund and try Weight Watchers. $149 is nothing compared to the thousands of dollars that I am saving. Thanks a lot.

I am so happy I NEVER signed up for them! I live in WA state and I have not seen their commercials on TV as of late come to think of it. I have seen nothing but bad things about this company.

I am so happy I have found sparkpeople! (www.sparkpeople.com) because I don't have to pay a thing for my weightloss because it is 100% FREE! (I have lost 15 lbs since I joined Jan 1st and it is now Feb 13th)

Anyplace that charges you a ton of money to lose weight only wants your money and doesn't care about you. This advice should be 100% free. You don't need special snacks and special bars to lose weight. You need to just learn how to eat correctly and choose the right foods and getting in to a healthy lifestyle.

Just joined LA weight loss online. It is much cheaper that going to the center three times a week. Should ceck into it.

The program works if:
1. ... you have more than 15 extra pounds. These last 15 pounds you CANNOT lose with the LA weight loss.
2. ... you were eating VERY unhealthy before: high fat and sugar.
3. ... you are stay-home mom/dad: have time to cook at home and don't mind constantly shopping for sugar-free, salt-free and fat-free food.
4. ... don't have ANY stress in your life. If you're a career man/woman, they will always use your stress as an excuse why the program is not working (which implies no refund).
5. ... you're fine to have no social life - no drinks with friends, no restaurants, no lunches at your work cafeteria.
Advice on saving money on bars: while talking to your councelor, take time to remember the nutritional facts on bars/shakes: sugar/protein/calories/fat. Then do some shopping online :): snd.com is one source I can think of. Same thing about the supplements: your good old CVS can provide that at a fraction of the cost.
I lost 15 pounds in about 4 months, less than half of what I paid for, without buying supplements/bars/shakes/etc. But now I hit the plateau on which I've been sitting for the last 7 months. They just shake their heads and suggest going to the gym. Not something I paid to hear ;). When you sign the contract, they all assure you that your plan is feasible. When the diet fails, it's your fault for making "unreasonable goals" (I'm 5'7" with 150 lbs, not too unreasonable to want 15 more pounds off).

With regard to LA Weight Loss, I am re-starting the program after having success several years ago. I have had my share of issues with the center I attend, but I like the program because it is focused on teaching you about portion control, as well as the proper balance of protein, fruits, vegetables, starches, dairy and fat. You need to be firm about your desire or lack thereof, to purchase supplements.

With respect to the cost, stick to the basics. The LA lites are expensive, but the price is relative if you compare to other nutrition bars on the market. You will like it, if you treat them as a "desert" on your plan. When you are getting started, skip the other supplements.

This is a good plan if you need the accountability to help you get started.

First, Ashley, thank you for your input.

Disappointed, we could share a post. We started at the same weight and are stuck at the same weight. I am changing my own program. I talked to them about it and they said "Stick with the program for 10 more days". Thanks but 4 weeks at the same weight is enough for me.

Did ya all see the previews for 20/20 this Friday. It is about scams and they have an "undercover" investigation on LAWL. All I heard was one employee saying "I have never been trained how to teach someone to loose weight." I can't wait to tune in.

Wow that ABC news report is scathing. I have been nt he diet 3 weeks and have lost 5.9lbs. They say its only 2 weeks to make it seem like I've lost more in 2 weeks. Either way.. I'm happy. I like the diet, I like the bars. I do only like one woman out of 4 in the office I go to. But I'm a smart person who refuses to allow them to push anything on me. And actually they have offered daily sales but I say no and they back off. I've gotten great encouragement frm the manager about how well I'm doing and it works for me. As I drove to the LAWL today and it took about 15 minutes lnger due to the snow.. I was thinking how I could be actually excercising instead of wasting time in the car. But I went and lost another lb.

Bottom line. Don't allow them to make you buy stuff you dont need and stick to the diet it does work. I have 35lbs to lose.

I cannot believe they said the GOLD plan was based on 1500-2000 calories (wait this is LAWL yes I can). I was also told this diet is not about counting calories but eating the right types of foods-eating enough protein etc. I was told that I would be eating MORE calories on this diet and still lose weight. I spoke to the dietician (through my insurance company) and she said not true. It is all about calories in and calories out. She did like the Gold plan, the meat portions were a little high and she thought I should eat more dairy. But she said I should lose weight if I stick to it and DO NOT eat the bars. THey are loaded with fat, sugar, sodium and carbs. There is nothing "specially formulated" about them that will help you lose weight. If you are trying to keep your guarantee switch to the drinks, 40 calories, no fat, and loaded with protein so they will fill you up. I have been having one a day (my center does not know that) and after 11 weeks of losing nothing I am FINALLY averaging 1.5 to 2 pounds a week. There is also a good web site calorieking.com the dietician recommended it. It will help you choose low calorie foods to fit into your plan. If you take control of your program you will lose weight. Hopefully your center has at least one good counselor, if not double check everthing they say.

I had joined LAWL and did lose 26 lbs., but I wasn't very happy at the fact that it cost me 1500.00, and the fact that the employees at the center were always pushing to sell the company's products. Not only that, but the employees were too phony--you can tell sincerity from phonyness, and because of that, I decided to end it right there. I did get all my lite bars before I quit only because I demanded them and told them that I would make a big stink right in the center while they had a room full of people waiting to sign up for the program. Could I have lost more ? Sure I could of, and I did, but I did it on my own--without dealing with the phony personalities and the high pressure sales tactics.

One more thing....the center that I attended was in southwest Florida. I think that LAWL should be refunding money to many of their unsatisfied customers thoughout ALL their locations!!

I started LA weight loss in September and lost 16 pounds. They were never pushy with their bars and were totally supportive of me.
Once I lost my weight, they would not allow me to lose anymore as I wanted to go another 5 pounds.
The felt it would not be healthy. I am on stabilization now. I have learned how to eat, I am never hungry and I feel the best I have in years.
The staff in Willow Grove is supportive, kind and never pushy. They have given me the tools I need to live a healthy lifestyle. This diet is a way of life, and I eat my own food. I look forward to the bars because it stops me from eating tons of junk. I have been very please with this diet and feel amazing.

I like the plan but honestly I did not start losing weight until I stopped eating the high in sugar lite Bars and started going to the gym everyday. I think that weight watchers is basically the same thing and more affordable.

The LA Weight Loss program is fantastic!!! It's the people who cheat and eat off the program who are the ones complaining it doesn't work. I lost 20 lbs in 2 months and feel and look awesome! I've recommended the program to several friends, and they have been successful too. Don't blame LA Weight Loss because you can't keep your fat fingers out of the cookie jar. I spent far more money on Jenny Craig and the food was horrible. At least I eat my own food on this program. If you think spending $800 on a weight loss program is too expensive, then go get lippo and put it on your credit card and pay $4000 over 5 years.

Could you be any more self centered or egotistical?????? I am also losing weight, 10 pounds in the last month, but it is only because I stopped eating their stupid bars and following their stupid advice. I have not had my "fat fingers" in the cookie jar (who are you to be calling people fat when you have been on 2 weight loss plans???). Watch the report on 20/20 and read the lawsuits, this company is corrupt. Yes the diet can work for SOME people, but their counselors are not properly trained to give good advice to people who are stuggling they are trained to sell product (again watch the 20/20 peice or read the blogs from former employees). I believe that if you pay $800 dollars for a program you should get GOOD advice from competant people under the supervision of a licensed clinitician (for example a dietician who is in the same state). This is what LAWL promises but they do not deliver! That makes them liars. I also consulted a dietician about the plan, she said it was good-except the bars and crap they sell. Yes, we have the choice not to use the bars, but not if you want the guarantee and the rebate. I am done wasting my time you, you clearly think of noone but yourself. Congradulations on your weight loss.

I watched the show on 20/20 and I was appalled. In my center where i work we were trained on weight loss. I am a counselor on the plan without the bars due to incompatibility. I have seen succesful clients with and without the bars. I make no promises to my clients. It takes determination, and hard work. I have never used or heard of someone cries they buy. I think that is wrong. I would like to point out that a lot of La Weight Loss Centers are franchise's and different people push different things.

I follow the plan, and i will admit i am human and i do cheat but i do work out with a personal trainer. so my advice to people is portion control and exercise and YOU will loose weight.

La Weight Loss is a joke. All negative comments about this company are very true and that is very scary. I am a former employee. All I had was a sales background and that is why they recruited me to SELL! Not teach you how to eat right but how to pull out all your emotions to get your BUCKS! We are only trained on how to sell sell sell. For me going in it was to help people because I thought the best job in the world is to help people. Thats not what they want you to do. You know nothing and are trained about nothing pertaining to nutrition we wear lab coats to give you that impression. Yes they do have the motto "if they cry they will buy" its real and real sad. My personal clients that I seen I could care less if you bought anything because I was also trying to loose weight and after reasearch of my own figured out the key with calories and food so I told them what I was doing to tie it in for them. I never pushed La Lites. As a matter of fact most people I enrolled I told them upfront how damn expensive those things were and told them that if anyone asks they have IBS which made them medicially ineligible to use them saving them money and calories. I did see some successful people along the way but they changed it to suit them after while and for alot of people getting close to their goal weight that did the bars I would tell them dont eat them but write it i your book that you did so no one would question them and they would start back loosing. There are thousands of files of unsuccessful client in every center you could go to and if you they want employess to call them to get them back in no matter how much they failed and payed prior or how long they have been gone(up to five years ago). Today Feb. 16 2007 they were on 20/20 and by no means any type of good review. If you want more comments from former employees and clients visit the badbusinessbureau.com they have lots of comments on there. As for the lawsuit they settled out of court that is metioned on here it was not $100,000 that they settled out of court for it was $1,000,000. Think about that!

If you are thinking of joining La Weight Loss and it is not a franchise the La Lite Bars are now mandatory no exceptions unless you are medically ineligible for them which they revamped. Also there is no longer a rebate for losing your weight NO MORE MONEY BACK. The reason for this is due to the lawsuits in Washington and New York. If you want to join and it is not a franchise go in tell them you saw the tv ad(it states in the tv ad based on a minimum of 52 weeks) when they quote you however many weight loss weeks,6 wks stab and 52 wks maint tell them about the tv ad and that it said 52 weeks they have to honor that. Also to get out of doing the La Lites tell them you have Ibs and it flares often (irratable bowl syndrome) or that you have had kidney stones within the last year that makes you ineligible for them. The plan can work if YOU work it. All the extras they push..la lites, supplements, snacks are to high in calories and with weight loss you have to cut calories. Hope that helps everyone.

I WAS AN EMPLOYEE AT LA WEIGHT LOSS IN LOUISIANA AND CAN HONESTLY SAY THE PROGRAM IS ALL ABOUT $MONEY$!!! THE LA LITES COST 16.00 PER BOX ( WE PAY ONLY 2.00 PER BOX ) THE CUSTOMER WILL NEED 2 BOXES PER WEEK FOR WEIGHT LOSS WEEKS + 6 WEEKS STABILIZATION + 52 WEEKS TO MAINTAIN YOUR WEIGHT. WEIGHT LOSS WEEKS IS BASED ON 2 LBS A WEEK. SO IF YOU NEED 10 WEEKS TO LOSE 20 LBS THIS WILL COST YOU 1,088.00$$$ DOLLARS. NOT TO MENTION THE PRICE OF YOUR PROGRAM ABOUT 700.00 DOLLARS. THE LA LITES WOULD ONLY COST THEM 136.00 DOLLARS. BIG DIFFERENCE! BEWARE OF GETTING SUCKERED IN! THE LITES ARE OPTIONAL!!!!

I ALSO SAW 20/20 AND EVERY DETAIL OF THEIR PROGRAM IS 100% TRUE. I WAS TRAINED TO MAKE WOMEN FEEL UNATTRACTIVE AND UNDESIRABLE. MAKING THEM DESPERATE TO LOSE WEIGHT AND CRYING WAS THE CONSTANT AND EXPECTED PRACTICE. NO COUNSELOR THAT I KNOW HERE HAS ANY BACKGROUND, EDUCATION OR TRAINING IN NUTRITION. ONLY WHAT THE MANAGEMENT WANTS YOU TO KNOW. AS ONE TRAINER TOLD ME AFTER A CONFERENCE IN LAS VEGAS; " DO NOT EVEN TELL THE CLIENT WHAT IS IN THE SUPPLEMENTS BECAUSE WE CAN BE SUED!!" SALES- THAT IS THE ONLY REQUIREMENT TO EMPLOYMENT AT LA WEIGHT LOSS! AND IF YOU THINK CARING IS ENVOLVED NOT SO. WE WERE REQIURED TO SALE 20.00$ OF PRODUCT TO EVERY CLIENT TO WALK TROUGH THE DOOR EVERY TIME THEY WEIGHED IN ( 3 TIMES A WEEK) 60.00 A WEEK PER PERSON ASIDE FROM THE PROGRAM COST, LA LITES AND THE SUPPLEMENTS! THIS IS NOT SOMETHING THE CLIENT KNOWS UP FRONT.

WOW Anna and Nicole, Both disgruntled employees! I do believe every center location is different, but I am a former employee that believes in the plan and also lost over 65 lbs with the program before I worked for the company. Lets be realistic, LAWL is a business, do you really think they would be able to operate on $7 a week per client? If you research the ingredients for the supplements, all are helpful! Yes you may save $3 by tracking something similar down, but if you have great counselors and its all right there, why wouldn't you spend the extra couple bucks and save yourself the trip? If you are looking for personalized counseling, cooking with your family, and still being able to have a drink on the weekends the program is for you. Weight loss in general is not easy, you must follow the plan, but the LA Lites are AMAZING for a protein bar, really do help if you are a sweet lover at all. I have heard the program has changed and the LA Lites are required. Good for LAWL!! You couldn't do Jenny Craig without doing the food. I was trained for 3 weeks on nutrition, more than the 3 courses I took in college, actually. Also you're required to pass a 8 page essay test, no fill in the blank, no multiple choice, before they even consider letting you shadow a manager in center for two weeks. Its a good company, Washington was just a bad apple. Make sure the center you choose is under the Corporate umbrella, this will ensure a more regulated and educated staff. And to be honest you couldn't pay me DOUBLE what I spent on the program to add that 65lbs back to my body it was worth every penny!!

Reply
Barb

Here is what was told to me by an employee. She said, " I would never eat any of this crap" Soy protein can cause cancer and this is mega doses of it. All the other products contain red dye also bad for you. Dr. Oz and Bob from the biggest loser say to lose weight you need to lose the sugar. He recommends sugar free jello. I went off the bars and have done nothing but lose weight. The plan is a good plan minus the bars and other stuff they sell.

Reply
Barb

I do not know that to be true about soy protein but it would be worth researching. Of course, everything causes cancer. But in all honesty, the high sugar really did affect my weight lose but everyone is different

DO NOT EAT THE BARS!!! I tried the bars and lost nothing for 11 weeks. I quit using the bars and have been losing like crazy. I asked a REAL dietician, there is nothing "specially formulated" about those bars, they are high in calories, fat and sodium!!! Ask them to see the research that proves the bars are effective, when I did that they backed of REAL quick. Becasue there is no cllinical research. They have been sued in TWO states for making false claims and they were caught on camera in the 20/20 peice making false claims about their produts. THEIR IS NO SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH TO BACK UP THE USE OF THE LITES OR THE SUPPLEMENTS. That is why they make vauge statements like "they speed up your metabolism". "they have protiens your body needs", "you can eat extra calories on this diet and still lose weight, becasue they are the right kind of calories". Without the crap the diet works great. I am thankfull that out of all the counselors at my centers (the turnover is high so I have seen ALOT) there is ONE that is helpful and willing to tell me the TRUTH, not hard sell and BS. Stand your ground and you will lose weight.

TO ALL THE LAWL CULT FOLLOWERS AS MEGAN, YOU REALLY NEED TO KNOW THE PERSON BEFORE CALLING THEM "DISGRUNTLED". FACTS ARE FACTS AND THE TRAINING IS ABOUT SELLING. YES THEY DO NEED TO MAKE MONEY. THEY ALSO NEED TO INFORM THE CLIENTS UP FRONT ABOUT ALL THE COSTS THEY WILL HAVE DURING THEIR PROGRAM. THREE WEEKS OF "NUTRITION " TRAINING IS NOT ENOUGH!! MEGAN THREE WHOLE COLLEGE CLASSES?? WOW!! ANYWAY, THE PLAN CAN WORK WITHOUT THE LA LITES! SEVERAL WEBSITES DO HAVE THE PLANS AND HOW TO CALCULATE WHICH ONE IS RIGHT FOR YOU. PEOPLE WHO REALLY WANT TO TRY AND DO NOT HAVE A COUPLE THOUSAND TO SPEND CAN BENEFIT FROM THIS. PEOPLE WHO NEED TO BUDGET OR PLAN THE PROGRAM INTO THEIR EXPENSES SHOULD BE ABLE TO KNOW ALL THE EXPENSE INVOLVED BEFORE GETTING INTIMADATED TO SPEND. I MAY NOT AGREE WITH HOW THEY SALE BUT I AM NOT DISGRUNTLED! I NOW HAVE A MASTERS DEGREE IN NURSING AND CAN MOVE ON TO A BETTER SITUATION. I HOPE ALL COUNSELORS HAVE SOMETHING TO FALL BACK ON BECAUSE ANYTHING CAN AND DOES HAPPEN.....

Some words of advice - DO NOT BUY THE BARS IF YOU DON'T WANT TO!!!!! I eat the bars twice a day and I have lost 19.6 lbs since Jan 3/07. At first I was only eating one bar a day but I find they do fill me up and curb cravings. I actually look forward to eating them. And maybe they do cause cancer but, honestly, what doesn't??? And everyone is different, so what may work for me may not work for another. And from what I have read, every centre is different. Because the centre I go to is fantastic!! They are supportive and not pushy. When I first started I told the counsellor that I didn't want to go on the bars she didn't bring up anything from my file to talk me into it, she didn't try to make me feel bad about myself. She just suggested that I try them because they do fill you up and help with cravings. And she didn't push. I don't believe I am a "cult follower" as Anna said. And Anna I don't think its fair to pick on Megan because you have a masters degree in nursing and she has taken three college courses. To each her own and its a lot more than a lot of people do!! She's entitled to her opinion without being belittled. I just believe that I have found something that works for me. And I have tried ALOT of things. Spent way more money on exercise machines than I have on LAWL. And I feel better than I have in years!!! I am eating fruit and vegetables like I never have before...how can that be bad??? And anonymous, as far as your REAL dietician. Every dietician, nutritionist and doctors is different. Go down the block and you'll find one with different advice!!! There is so much information out there now and each believes their own thing!!!

To me this is not about dieting but about changing my life. So the money cannot be translated into per week or per month. It is a life long investment!! Its better than the alternative...be miserable in my fat clothes for the rest of my life because up till now, nothing else has worked for me. Now my fat clothes are baggy and I can even fit into my less fat clothes!!

Megan I was a corporate employee and recieved one week of training in SALES to sell products,2 days to enroll(make them cry),1 day to explain the program and 3 Days on how to push the $1000 packages of La Lites. No nutritional training what so ever. The plan does work as long as you dont use any of the extras JUST the plan. I lost 80 pounds following it not using any product at all. Yes it is a business and they want to make money but they are unethical in their business practices. I seen people open up care credit and put thousands of dollars that they could not afford because the counselor told them I use them they work. Now they are in debt up to their eyeballs. I worked in a center where the owners sister in law worked in Michigan and she sold product to people that were medically ineligible to use that could kill them but since she is Vaughn's sister in law nobody stopped it and I told I was her manager. Everyone was afraid to say anything but lets put peoples lives at risk to make a buck. In Michigan the reality is they dont care about you, they have no experience in health or nutrition ONLY in SALES to SELL! Maybe other states are different but I worked for them for over a year. They didnt care for me because I was honest and I did not push product but my clients lost weight and were successful(you figure out why). In my year I seen the most turnover in employees that I have ever seen at any job. If it was such a great company they would not have a high turnover. Most people think they will be doing good helping people until they get in training. I stayed because I cared about my clients. I worked in a center they decided to close. How unethical is this that they DID NOT want us to tell are clients we were closing to avoid refunds. They told us to tell them we are looking for another location and when we get one we will call them. The last week we were open they still wanted us to enroll new people and not tell them we were closing. Oh, no new location was going to be found they were not planning on looking. Im sorry but that is DIRTY! I told my client we were closing and told them to refund. These people have paid thousands of dollars for our help and you do them like that to keep their money. Some of the La Lites are good and you know why Megan because they are made with REAL chocolate, lots of fat and carbs.
Yes I am very upset with them and I have good reason to be. Not just because of their unethical business practices but what they personaly did to me.

When I say REAL dietician I mean a person with a degree!! THe couselors at LAWL are not dietician, yet I have listened to them make statements they claim are based on scientific fact. When, in fact they are not (they were sucessfully sued in Washington for this practice, and still caught on tape by ABC news, still making the same false claims)! The dietician I spoke to provided me with research for EVERYTHING she told me, I would like LAWL to do the same, I have asked and they blew me off. I do not think Anna was belittling Megan or throwing her M.A. in Megan's face. When Megan makes a statement like "do you really think they could run a company for $7 a week per client" she set herself up. If they cannot run their company for that, then charge MORE!!!! Not to do so is dishonehst and illegal, hence sucessul lawsuits in two states and a scathing review on national television (i am refering to last nights 20/20 piece). THis company has problems!!! I am glad you are losing weight. I am also losing weight, now that I have taken control of my own program and I no longer assume that what the "counselors" say is true. They are NOT the trained professionals they claim to be. I do not have a problem with the cost. I have a problem with the fact that when I signed up I was told all the couselors had succefully completed the program (not true), I was told they were under the supervison of a licensed dietician (who happens to be located in a different state), I was told that if I did the bars I was guaranteed to reach my goal or I could keep going for free (I have had to fight tooth and nail to get that honored). The bottom line is yes, this diet can work, but these "couselors" are not well trained professionals. And this company is dishonest in the way they do buisness. Just becasue something works for you does not mean you have to belittle everyone who has a legitemate complaint.

Hey, I'm a 17 year old and I have a 52 year old grandma. We started LA Weight Loss about a year ago. I have a severe case of B.E.D (Binge Eating Disorder). We started LA and at first I had lost a lot but then it seemed as though it stopped working after the 1st couple of weeks. I also saw a special last night on 20/20 about how its a scam and that the people at the centers have no clue about nutrition, and diets. I have also had a medical problem. For years I took Tegertol for Epilepsy and because of it I have a very slow metabolism. Not only have I gained back the weight I lost but I've got more on me now than when I first started. I was already shy about my weight because of how big I am and now I'm bigger and I look like a stuffed toad! I have my granduation, and prom coming up within the next few months and it disappoints me that I won't look good and slim for them.

Luckily for me I only took them for anxiety so I had to have my Doctor take me off of them slowly over the next 8 weeks. Then they charged me more weeks !! I heard where you are coming from...

I have to say that everyone that watched 20/20 it was disappointing but lets be honest. At weight watchers meetings they try to sell you food, at Jenny Craig, Seattle Sutton and Nutrasystem they sell their food too. They all do it. My center in Deerfield IL has never event tried to sell me any products but the bars. I wasnt pushed to do anything I didnt feel comfortable with. As far as the woman they interviewed who sat and boo hooed about her money she owes.. All I have to say is DUH. LAWL is like anything else. If you put it into it you will get out of it. I've lost over 6lbs in 3 weeks and I'm happy on the gold plan. I adore the bars. They are awesome. (Have you tried to microwave the brownie ones yet?).... I let my 6 year old eat them for a snack. Whatever.. I read the contract I knew what I signed I say NO if I dont like what they offer me. I have a brain.. End of story.

I don't think my message was very clear. I want to know are you aloud to have 1 bar a day instead of 2? The girl I spoke to at lawl said it's 2 la bars a day or you must go on the other plan. I don't understand why they can't incorporate 1 bar a day. It's not only the cost. I don't feel like I need 2 la bars a day. The 1 la bar would be a nice treat to curve my sweet cravings and help my pocket book.
