Free Fitness Tools
A selection of free fitness resources.
- AOL have just introduced a free 6 week program as part of their America Takes it Off promotion. The Beach-Ready Boot Camp series has streaming video and podcasts. Part I covers a boxing workout and jump rope. Cool enough to have me jumping around my office practising my jabs and hooks. Who said exercise has to be dull?
- Ball State University has an entire selection of exercise demonstrations (photos and videos) covering just about every weight training exercise you can think of. This relatively unknown web page allows you to select exercise by body region. See the Strengthlab.
- Fitness trainer Kevin Gianni doesn't just send out an email newsletter - he sends out a 50 second fitness quick fix - fitness advice in a video format.
- A huge collection of body weight exercises including 50 (yes fifty!) push up variations.

ReplyYou should also remember Sparkpeople.com...Its like eDiets but free
ReplyHere's a free fitness tool. Jog all around your neighberhood, or even jog across town. It costs you nothing. Though, I use an iPod while I'm jogging, but that's optional. Of course you can use your cranky old CD player or such, but at least you don't have to deal with these expensive health fitness bills.
ReplyCool! I like the best is the weight loss calculators from (caloriesperhour.com) - BMR, BMI, RMR, etc. I like seeing where it put how many calories I need to consume ad where I am at in body composition.
