Chocolate Diet Pill

What next -
weight loss chocolate bars?
“We will have a chocolate-tasting product that suppresses diet. People can take one tablet just before each meal to reduce their appetites,”
Clinical trials are already underway, patents have been filed, and Company director Professor Albert Zumbé is looking to break into the American market.
Is it the perfect answer for all the chocoholics out there?

I dun think so cuz if it tastes good it could be tempting by itself lol
ReplySo if I love chocolate and keep eating these, does that mean that I'll lose my appetite completely? :-)
ReplyThose people aren't too dumb...I wonder what the stats are on how many women are going to fall for this one too..
ReplyWhat's stopping someone from eatting the whole bar?
What if they do?
Beside, chocolate itself is an appetite suppressant. If you can manage to only eat one chunk, why not just go buy a real bar or a carb free bar of some sort.
Replyto Fatty: (which I certainly am) I agree with you what's to stop people from taking more than the normal amount? Isn't that what got me into this BIG mess? I think anything that alters a mood or feeling in my body has a potential for addiction. I am a chocoholic anyway, and that for me is a trigger food. Reducing the appetite is a mental ploy. Isn't it the stomach that feels full and shouldn't we try to shrink our stomach each time to bring it back to it's original size? I tried all of thoes meal replacements, protein bars, and snack bars; and I found a new thing to overeat, with more calories when combined. It triggered my sweet tooth to crave another one, two, three, etc. I struggle all of the time but I am not going to give up and eat my way into the box. (A boxed coffin) Good luck to you.
Replyi agree wat would stop someone from eating the whole thing.... i think its a bad idea.. and if some one eats the whole thing... who knows if its dangerous.. anything man made that suppress your appetite or makes your heart work harder (diet pills) is dangerous
ReplyBet you can't eat just one.

ReplyOh, I don't know... in a weight-loss support group, they did teach us that to avoid over-eating of sweets, put a piece of said sweet onto your tongue, and just let it sit there and melt, basically savor it. And then when it's gone, it's no big deal.
We did that with Hershey Kisses. I didn't have a craving for chocolate for the rest of the week, honestly.
ReplyBoots used to make weight loss chocolate bars about 20 years ago. I remember having them quite often, and quite enjoying them.
Replyi think people can be really stupid. oh and taking a phrase from a chip bag is really low.
ReplyI do like how they would come up with something that would not only be good to eat, but would be beneficial to your health. But as you all so clearly opinionated, it would have side effects and temptations, and really if you are obese it is most likely caused by a lack of will. So yes this is a bad idea and can be filed away, but in theory it was a great idea however poorly exicuted... Really, I'm turning 17 soon and am looking in the mirror, I'm not in shape, and it's really because i have no will when it comes to food. Also in some sick perverted way, food can make you feel completed...
ReplyI think I would eat the bar for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks in between my meals!
Replythis is a lie, u cant eat chocolate and lose weight it might work for a week or two but after that you will be bigger than ever
ReplyI started replacing corner store chocolate for health food chocolate and lost weight, I think this could work. It is a pill not a bar, and who is going to eat it all? People who want a quick fix and have no idea how to diet. Moderation people, do all things in moderation.
Replychocolate is such a dumb idea!!!!! because how is it gonna help you lose weight when it's chocolate and it's gonna make you fat!! so you better not sell this thingy!!! you horrible self!

The big thing you all are missing is its a pill. It's not the bar in the picture. That says whats next? a wieght loss chocolate bar? So make sure you read the article before you comment. The other note is what a waste of chocolate. A pill? I mean I want to taste it, not just swallow it like Homer Simpson. But as a diet item, who cares what its made of. If it works, it works. Right? The only good thing is that other diet pills could kill you if you swallowed a bottle of them. This being primarily chocolate might at least mean that you wont OD. And I doubt you'll gain weight since the cost for one pill would probably be as much as a couple candy bars. But then I would say the same about smoking yet we see how much people spend on that...
