Triple Whopper: Portion Fit for a King Kong

Burger King are continuing their big fat strategy. The new King Kong Burger is probably enough to feed the big gorilla himself. The Triple Whopper weighs in at a stellar 1230 Calories.

The calorie breakdown:

82 grams fat (incl. 32 grams Saturated Fat)
52 grams carbs
71 grams protein
1590 mg sodium

Thirsty while your chewing down your burger? Why not add a Large Chocolate Shake - that's just another 850 calories.

According to the calorie calculator - after eating the burger, a 135 pound woman would meet her entire day's calorie needs about 1/3 of the way through the shake.

Forget 'healthy' fast food - the trend is quite the opposite. These fat-laden concoctions continue to grow in size and popularity, and are a tribute to modern gluttony. Enjoy at your own risk (thanks Spectra).

fast food who cares

Man who cares if bk makes this burger like many people said on this comment board its your choice to eat it i mean if you eat it maybe once a week like i do and eat clean the rest of the week like i do you wont gain weight but for those who do eat it everyday it is pritty stupid i mean you are goin to get fat and prolly get some shit goin on on the inside but anyways i think it should be up to the ppl that are byin it if you want to be fat eat it if you dont then dont or if you just want a treat because you eat healthy all week then why not eh

Hmmm. I'm pretty neutral about Burger King; if people like it, then they should eat it--I think the amount one eats is determined by the person. I personally like a small burer from In And Out now and then and some French Fries.

I got one down in under 1 minute. It was awesome! Maybe next time, I'll see how long it takes to get 2 down.

I guess I'm going to have 2 comments posted. I've had this website saved on favorites for many months just because I love to look at the thing every once in a while. It's just awesome!
I watched the movie Super-size me. It had entertainment value, but was a pointless exercise on how easily Hollywood can brainwash us by only giving us enough information to not realize that they're lying to us.

I was a little overweight. So I tried various diets and now I'm much more overweight.
This last year for my resolutions, I decided to start doing food challenges, have fun with food and not worry about losing weight. I'm down 15 pounds, and I eat these things all the time. They're awesome!
If you want to go after somebody, go after the "Fad Diet Industry". None of them work. They have good intentions, but they're all scams.
Focus on eating nutrient-rich foods and living a more active lifestyle.
I happen to work a job that's extremely physically demanding. So I have no problem handling the calories of this beast. But if I worked in a cubicle all day, common sense would dictate that going home and eating one of these things for dinner would not be a wise choice.

I love the triple whopper. When I was a kid back in Puerto Rico, we used to make our own. We would take one regular Whopper and combine it with two cheeseburgers. It was like heroin!

You can eat 3 triple whoppers in one sitting? I might be able to just about eat two then feel like dying afterwards...lol. But yea, many people have extremely high metabolism (annoying because you have to eat such large amounts of food just to maintain your weight and remain alert) which should slow down with age...

This is the Greatest Invention mankind has made since the wheel. The only reason I mention the wheel is because I am sure some were used in the creation of such a flawless meal. I eat one of these everyday and I couldnt be healthier. Long live the Whopper

I love the Triple Whopper so much. The only way they could make it better is to pile on some pastrami. BK needs to carry pastrami.

Good luck on your diet. I am comfortable with my Body Image and weight.

I was practically raised on MacD's and BK. While I've educated myself about 'good' and 'bad' food as an adult, I had no idea as a child or teen how bad something like this sandwich could be. While I believe in individual responsibility, I'm also angry at Bk and their pals for taking advantage of a society that is ignorant regarding what a healthy portion is and not to mention, knowing that fast food places fill their food with additives like MSG to make us eat and eat past fullness.

A few years ago, I went to a company Christmas party. I had been promised that there would be an endless supply of treats. So I worked my warehouse job all day(starving) thinking about the grand meal I would be having later that evening. When I got there, all the buffet food was already gone and was not replenished. I was given a plate of food that consisted of an itty bitty chicken breast, 2 stems of asparagus, and a tiny little pyramid of "tofu".
I remember being upset. However, choosing to be angry to the point of suing because my desires not being met is almost as ridiculous as suing McD'd or BK (or the fast-food industry) because of the foods they offer.

I grew up in a town that only had a BK (No McD's or Wendy's). To eat there was a special treat for us. I once went to a friend's birthday party there. They also once had a "Whopper Eating Contest". It was awesome! I watched it wishing I was old enough to be in it. But guess what.
I was not brainwashed or driven to addiction due to my childhood trips to BK.
So go sue happy on the industry that charges $50 bucks a plate for a piece of chicken and tofu and let me eat my Triple Whopper in peace.

People who eat all this stuff... binge are no different than an alcoholic/addict. They have other issues to resolve if they do anything in excess.

I've never even been tempted to eat one of these, that much meat is just disgusting to me. And those people who say they eat it and are still skinny...it will catch up to you. Skinny people can get high cholesterol too.

Yesterday I just had the triple whopper and it tasted so good . I don't care how many calories the burger has because I only eat once in a while .I've heard people tell me to take care of myself and eat healthy . I've heard many people tell me that if it isn't one thing thats going to kill you ,its something else .

I am just curious but did anybody see the documentary called Super size me . I saw it in my weightlifting class and it illustrates a man eating nothing but Mcdonalds for a whole month . It showed the health problems that the person sustain during that period . The ironic thing about this story was that I ended up craving Mcdonalds and I told my teacher the next day that I had Mcdonald on the day of the video and she was shocked and told me that the video was supposed to keep me from eating fast food .

had one of these for meal #5 today (no other options) and it wasn't at all bad. Could do without the transfat and maybe a few hundred fewer calories, but you can scrape off the gunk on top and end up with 70g's of protein and good animal fat. given a choice I'd take a 6 inch subway with 4 chicken breasts and save on the transfat but good stuff

i currently work at burger king. i can't stand that food. its so sad to see people, the same people, over and over every single day. and they buy the same crap every single day, nothing changes. "let me get a double whopper with cheese cut in half no pickles or onions", same crap every day.

i weigh 140 at 5'7" and i workout intensely and run a lot. i used to run to my job at burger king 3 days a week for a 2 month span. i live 6 1/2 miles from burger king. tell me how i can do that, but people can't eat breakfast in the morning when they wake up, at home i should add. eat a bowl of cereal, maybe a banana or something HEALTHY. i used to wake up at 3:15am , eat cereal, and leave my house on foot at 3:40am. to then run for 1 hour and 10 minutes to burger king. now isn't that IRONIC.

I will agree slightly depressing,, I ran to my job just for the challenge to see if I could do it, to see how long I could last before my body gets too tired. I lasted a few months.

But stop hatin, that lifestyle it's called 'Healthy' ...and slightly depressing Lol. I don't work at BK anymore, I hate Burger King with a passion

Reply
dmartinez

And actually I am very proud of myself, I was able to conquer that challenge. If you've never ran 6 1/2 miles to your job to work for 10 hours and then run back home another 6 1/2 miles,, then you have no idea what it's like. I like competition and I like pushing myself to the limit. You can hate all you want, I am very proud of myself and I do maintain a healthy lifestyle and enjoy it, but so extreme anymore, Lol

Reply
dmartinez

whoops, that should say I maintain a healthy lifestyle but *Not so extreme anymore.. Im sure nobody even cares, Lol.. But if u wanna hate, try it sometime, try to do what I did or something similar.. It's an adrenaline rush, u can have a sense of accomplishment and feel very good about yurself for completing such a challenge.

Peter, oh dearest peter, i can't take this much longer. Continue eating those triple whoppers and quad whoppers with total disregard for your health and well-being. What do i care, they can just take me out of your body and transplant me to someone who is going to take good care of me.

I just had a triple angry whopper today with a large fries and dr. pepper. they are quite tasty but they never fill me up, and at 8.47 i was really hoping it would. Oh well i guess im just gonna have to get two triples next time. I'm 6'9 and i weigh only 185 but my metabolism is on crack or something because i stopped working out two years ago and i still cant gain any weight.

Ok. Honestly I just ate one of these bad boys the other day. I was stuffed, and still managed to get the whole meal down. It was delicious, and I am just as fine as I have been in a long time.
My opinion, if you worry about your weight, dont eat it.

The Triple Whopper is a tasty fat-filled treat which I greatly enjoy. Should it be advertised? Probably not. At my local BK it isn't on a big poster or anything but it is available. As it should be. If you don't want to eat badly don't go in to BK because once you're in there they've got you. I intend to eat an Octo-Whopper before I die. I recently converted to BK from Maccy D's. I used to eat 6 double cheese burgers regularly so for me this triple is a god-send.

I eat one of these everyday for lunch. I am on a high protein diet and this packs a lot of protein for the price. I take the bun off, eat it with a fork, and drink iced tea or water. I work out when I get off work for about an hour - nothing major, and have a light dinner. I have been losing about 10 lbs/month and have never felt better!

If someone doesn't have the self control to not over eat than it's on them. Try to enjoy life a little people... I'm 6 foot, 190 and completely fit... And guess what, every week I have a burger from Hardees, Burger King, Applebees, etc. It's called Moderation, one burger every once in a while isn't going to kill you. The fact that some people can't keep from shoving food down their gullet or that they won't exercise is their own damn fault. Good for BK.
