Ear Stapling for Weight Loss?

There is a new place that just opened in Byram, Mississippi called Staple Trim. It's on the i-55 frontage road by Berry's Sheet Metal.

Where in America do you go to get trained to do the ear stapling?? Does anyone know???

I have never heard of this before until about 2 weeks ago. I had one staple put in each ear. One for weight and one for smoking. I am still unsure of my feelings, but hey I have tried everything else, including exercise. The staples did not puncture my skin. It is only in the top layer of skin. Where I went will reposition it for free and take it out for free. It is in a clinic in Madison, MS. There website is www.staplepower.com.

I have a good comment about this procedure. We heard about this through family who had it done, they lost 60 pounds in 3 months. Several of my immediate family just got this done 1 week and 2 days ago. Today I have lost a total of 4 pounds. My step dad has lost 9 pounds and mom has lost 4 pounds. It does work, I was skeptical, I thought it was all in their head, but somehow it makes all the cravings go away. When I eat, I don't have to eat as much to fill full. I just wanted to lose about 10 pounds, now I'm almost half way there. My sister got them in to stop smoking, she says it's starting to help, the cigarettes are starting to taste bad and makes her have a bad taste in her mouth. The main thing is to make sure you clean your staples with alcohol at least twice a day, if not more. We put some in a spray bottle and spray ours. Hope this helps some of you.

Me, my mother, and sister went and got our ears stapled today. I will let everyone know our results in a couple of weeks.

i have heard of the ear stapling in conway arkansas. can someone please give me the doctors name , address and phone number so i can make me an appointment. my sis and i would like to go and have tis done for loosing weight and stop smoking for our health reasons. i have also heard of the candle waxing of the ears. i would like more info on tis too ! i am 4'10 and weigh 148 lbs. i need to loose 40 to 50 lbs due it is hurting my health. need to stop smoking asap too due to medical conditions as well.

Has anyone had their staples adjusted and, if so, how is it done? I have had mine 2 weeks and am very thirsty but still have cravings and can eat as much as I used to. I've only lost 3 pounds, so I am thinking I may need an adjustment. Can anyone advise me?

I have read all 4 pages about the ear staples. I was very skeptical at first, but after talking to several people offering the staples in my area I chose a RN named Robin. She lives in a small town 15 minutes away from OKC, OK. I have to be very honest with all of you, she was really down to earth and very informative. She charges nearly half of what everyone else charges and offers to remove them and replace them for free if there are any problems. She had a session and taught me all about the history of ear stapling and what things I should do to prevent infection. She has been doing this awhile and has an awesome website, ( www.acustaple.com ) She isn't trying to ramrod anyone and she stands behind her name and work. I had a personal medical question one evening and she took the time to talk to me about it. There aren't many Doctors who will do that one on one. I am doing great, I have lost 5 pounds in 2 weeks and I am sleeping better than I have in 2 years. If you are really wanting someone who really cares about you, please call her. Even if you are out of state, she will try to find reputable people doing this in your area. She has trained a lot of people, and has been featured on KFOR and FOX 25 for her awesome work ethic. I checked on the new one in Bryam, MS and they have no expierence, so be aware of this. Do some checking on the person doing this procedure before you have it done. People are just hoping that they know what they are doing this with no expierence at all. This is a great procedure but dont' just trust anyone. Too many people are getting a ONE day training and trying this.

I had both my ears stapled yesterday morning for smoking and weight loss. I have struggled with my weight for many years and hope this works. I have already seen a change in my appetite and how much it takes to fill me up.I'll write again in 1 week when I weigh.

I just heard about Ear Stapling. I have been looking for a place close to Meridian, Ms to have it done.

I wrote in early this morning. I had my staples done yesterday. I seemed to notice a difference yesterday afternoon and today up until supper time. Then I was very hungry and ate what I would normally eat. Does this sound familiar to anyone and will this go away or get better.

EJH -- I have noticed a huge increase in thirst, but my appetite comes and goes. I definitely still get hungry (some people say they don't) and sometimes eat as much as "normal." But it seems like when I eat too much I feel a little sick. Do you? I am trying to eat small things - string cheese, power bars - instead of a meal and I do feel full with just a "snack." --CMM

I have personally had the procedure and it really works.......i have lost 5 pounds and 7 inches in 3 weeks and that's just with one staple in my right ear

CMM in MS -I am also in MS, thought you might want to know. Last night around 8:00 p.m. was the first time I noticed the big increase in thirst. Like you I feel like my appetite still comes and goes, although today is my second full day to have the staple. I am not hungry this morning, which is my worst time to eat. I am really bad about stress eating and after getting 3 kids off to school and a husband off to work, I can get pretty stressed out. This morning seems to be different. How long have you had your staple and have you lost any weight yet? Let me know.

I had it done yesterday in Fort Smith, Arkansas-doesn't hurt as much as getting ears pierced-I haven't noticed any effects yet.Did it take any of you a few days before any results and can you drink Crystal light-the technician said no diet sodas

Well, had my ears stapled today.. I'll have to say that it did in fact hurt, but not for very long... I haven't experienced any decline in appetite yet but what I am most worried about is a PAIN in my left jaw joint (where TMJ is located). Anyone else experience this and if so, is there anything that might help???? Thanks!

No diet soda? Why? I still drink it and I drink TONS of Crystal Lite. I've had my staples for 2 weeks and have lost about 7 pounds. I get full faster...but being full doesn't necessarily make me stop eating..especially if it is something that I like! I usually eat about 1200-1500 calories/day and work out 5-6 days per week, so it is hard for me to say if it is the staples or my eating/exercise plan helping me to lose weight. I think the staples at least make me think about what I am eating and if I am really hungry or not. It may be more mental than physical.

I have read lots of email on here. Me and my best friend are getting it done March 4th in Grenada, MS. We will also start a gym program to try to loose weight by memorial day weekend for a family gathering. My question is does it bother you when you sleep? I have this thing about objects getting in my ear. I pray that this work because I am at my biggest yet. Thanks for reading to all who did.

My friends and I have heard about ear stapling. We are going tomorrow at 4pm. Will update on Monday to let you all know how the weekend went. We are African-American females who weigh between 200-300lbs. I will update about all 5 of us!

I had this done approx. 3 days ago. I had already had to have 1 staple removed, not because of infection, but it just really bothered me. The left one is not giving me any problems, but I cannot tell it is doing anything for me as far as weight loss OR appetite control. I am going to leave the remaining staple in place as long as it does not give me any problems. I had heard alot of success stories from co-workers and friends. Bottom line is if you want to have it done, I would do it, even if it is "all in your head". Just be sure to keep the area around the staples clean and do not touch them alot.

I just had both of my ears stapled yesterday in Jonesboro, Arkansas. My daughter had it done at noon on Wednesday and had already lost 4 lbs as of noon yesterday. She went with me to have mine done and weighed on the same scales in the office. I could tell a difference as soon as the staples were inserted. My sister went with me, too, and had both of her ears done, as well. We went shopping all afternoon - mostly walking and looking - and I didn't get really tired like I usually do! I was much thirstier than usual and drank 3 bottles of water within about 3 hours time. My husband had dinner prepared when I got home and I couldn't eat much at all. I ate about a cup of spinach and about half of a piece of chicken thigh. Amazing portion control for me! When I was putting the leftovers in the fridge, the food was actually making me kind of sick just looking at it. Absolutley no desire to pick or to lick spoons. I did have a cup of hot cocoa later in the evening and that was it. No snacking in front of the tv or anything!! I am truly amazed at the effectiveness of this simple procedure. My ears are a little tender this morning but that is to be expected - I mean , I had staples put in my ears!!

As for this being a magic cure, I know I have to be more responsible for my weight control, as well. I have to make better choices in the foods I do eat; like laying off the sugar. More lean protein, vegetables and fresh fruits are going to be my mainstays! I have to drink more water to help my body work more efficiently. Last, but certainly not least, I have got to move my body more. I have started doing deep breathing techniques which help to raise the oxygen levels in your body which is exactly what aerobic exercise does without all the jumping round and hurting my knees.

If I am willing to have staples put in my ears, the very least I can do is be an active participant in making certain that this treatment is effective in helping me to achieve my weightloss goals. I have about 60lbs to lose and I want it so badly I can taste it!!

Another benefit I have already experienced in having this done is that my mother and my husband have both said that they will not bring "junk food" into the house anymore. That if I felt "desperate" enough to do this, that they would do all that they could to help me, my sister and my daughter achieve our goals.

WOW! Such a noticable difference in my appetite!!!!!!!!!
I am eating so much less during the day and absolutly no snacking or craving. For the last to nights I have not even ate super, I just have not been hungry! Today is my fourth day to have the staples.

I have had my staples for 6 days and have lost 1.8 pounds. My appetite comes and goes, but I have this really bad headache since I got the staples but as long as I take tylenol I am fine. My mother also got her staples 6 days ago and has lost 10 pounds, WOW!! but she works in a hospital which requires a lot of walking, she says that she can only eat a little and then she fill full and she drinks alot of water unlike me. My sister also got her staples 6 days ago and we don't know if she has lost weight or not because she doesnt't have a scale but both of her ears are infected because she doesn't clean them properly. Hey everyone. I was on here a couple days ago and stated I was going to get my ears stapled March 4 but I couldn't wait. I did it today. Like others said they felt thirsty, My mouth was so dry just like when I use to take the weight lost pills with the good stuff in it. I have a good feeling about this. I weighed myself as of today I weight 226 and I will post you guys weekly on my sucess. Good luck to those who have them or are about to have it done.

WELL TOMMORROW WILL BE EXACTLY 1 WEEK SINCE I Have had my staples done and i have pus running out of both ears and i have tons of bumps in and around my ears.I eat the same exact way i was eating at first i dont feel full after eating and i still crave food i really think this is more of a mind thing than anything if you think long and hard about the process maybe it will work for you and you can play mind games with yourself to believe its working for you and psych yourself out to believe youre full or to believe youre not hungry when you really are. to each his own with this gimmick PS I AM ALLERGIC TO ANTIIBIOTIC OINTMENT SO MAYBE THATS WHY I AM BREakING OUT AROUND MY EARS MY SISTER TOLD ME I SHOULD TELL YALL THAT NOT TO BE MISLEADING

Well, my jaw joints are feeling better! No other problems so far. It's been 3 days and I've lost 2.5 pounds already. Probably because I am so thirsty and am drinking lots of water which I did NOT do before!! I can see an obvious decrease in appetite whether it's "all in my head" or not... If it's all mental but it works for you, then I say, do whatever works!!
