Brazilian Diet Pills Causing Stir

Rica how much weight are you trying to lose? I am not sure what level to start with. I am looking to lose 35lbs. Any help wpould be so greatly appreciated.

Level 3 is for like 30lbs or more...I need to lose about 20 but since they didn't have level 1 or 2 I ordered 3.

AM - I think there was a miscommunication about the levels and amount of weight loss.

The website explains that Level 1 = lose 11 lbs.
Level 2 = 22 lbs total weight loss. In other words lose 11 lbs per level.

Example:

Level 1 - lose 11 lbs.
Level 2 - lose 11 lbs.
Total lbs lost = 22 lbs.

I spoke to a woman in Miami and I told her what I wanted to lose and she insisted I jump right to 3 or 4. She said it would a waste of moey to go through all previous levels. Just a sidenote. Thanks Rica!

I am glad those of you who have ordered received your shipments. I ordered from them, too. I think i chose them because they seemed to have good custormer service and the product appears to be the real deal. I am talking about www.nyemagrecesim.com who are vendors of this product (not the manufacturers). Did your Emagrece Sim say "Made in BrAzil?"

I am still curious as to which "brazialian diet pills" made this ONE news article. They don't mention a name nor post a picture of the product. The picture posted above is not from the news article. That picture was inserted into the initial post in this thread. I believe that caused a lot of confusion.

Please include the site you ordered your pills from if you had success with the product you ordered. Thank you. I see many positive testimonials in this thread but I wish people would mentioned WHERE THEY ARE GETTING THEIR PILLS FROM. It will be very helpful to most.

This is for anyone that has been taking it. With the differnt levels, do you start out on level one no matter how much you want to lose? On a site I saw it said Level 5 for 50lbs Level 4 40 etc. So if you want to lose over 50 do you start with level 5 and work your way down or start with level 1 and work your way up?

I just wanted to say hello to everyone. I too have been trying for years to get and keep the weight off. I have tried Weight Watchers, step classes three times a week, running, pilates (works, but mostly just to tone), Stacker-2, Stacker-3, Metabolife, Thermalife, that one that Anna Nicole Smith has (can't remember the name of it), Zantrex, etc. None have had real results. So, now we get to the decision of whether or not I want to try something that is supposed to work if I can find the real thing, even though it could be dangerous if I get a fake one. My answer is yes. I am 5'5", 175 pounds and 25 years old. My question to all of you is: WHERE CAN WE FIND THE REAL THING? Honestly, I don't want to take a chance that I get a fake version that could be fatal or something. If I'm going to try it, I want the real thing. I have read this blog (first timer here-found it typing in "Emagrece sim"), and have listened to all sides of the story. We all want the same thing...weight loss, and we want to do it as carefully as possible, even if it isn't allowed in the US. Any ideas, anyone? Let's find the real one together!! Then we would all be able to lose this weight-FINALLY!!!!!

Cynthia - I am not sure why you would sign up with a name that is already being used. That causes conflicts and cofusion.
I am the first Cynthia that wrote on October 16th. My story was not a very happy one.
I did not have a lot of weight to loose, but wanted to give this pill a try, specially since I am Brazilian.
These pills have been around for a few years, I took mine about 5 1/2 years ago. But they are all the same. And there are still lots of Brazilian women taking them for a couple of weeks and then getting sick. I am talking about the original ones. But like I said before, they are illegal drugs that make to the USA as vitamins.
Please think about it before you take them. Although people are not dying from these pills, they are having life problems after taking them. I know I have to live with a seizure disorder for life now.

Rica - I honestly don't know if it matters about the level you start out on. The information that I read just talked about losing 11 lbs per level and if you didn't achieve the # of lbs you wanted to lose, then it said to start over at 1 after going thru 5. There was a comment that did say "Do not stay at level 1 longer than the 45 day cycle because it would have the reverse effect and cause you to gain. All of that stuff really sounds like a lot of hoey to me and I think a lot of this information is nothing more than sale tactics, but that is just my opinion.

No, I haven't received them. He said that I would get a tracking number today by email, and I still haven't received that email.

Hi everyone, I have been reading this blog the last two days and after much confusion where to order from I too placed a order on the NY Emagrece Sim website. I chose level 3 after calling the number and telling the lady i needed to lose 30 lbs. I paid a extra $18.26 for the 2 day air and they emailed me a order number shortly after my order was completed. I pray that I made a good decision ordering from them.

I also received an email UPS tracking number from NYemagrecesim.com after I called them. I would recommend calling them to order as they do not seem to respond to emails or requests on the site itself. The woman speaks much better english than she writes. They certainly billed my credit card quite quickly though.

I called nyemagrecesim and she told me to go order on the website so I did and got an email right away, a confirmation of my order. I haven't gotten a UPS tracking number but did get some sort of confirmation that they got my order and should have it in 4-5 business days.

Lisa - I read in someone's post way back up the listing that they do not sell the original product, they said that the product offered there is call Emagrece Thin or Emagrece Slim. They said not to take those, that they didn't work. I am just repeating what the post stated. I have no idea about these products, just what I have read here and on the different websites. You may want to review the website again and look closely at the name of the product.

Jan is on her own planet. I noticed she posts a lot here and on other threads. Where does she get the time to post on so many threads? She is very judgmental and it sounds like she is just spitting out things she's read without any conscious reasoning attached to it.

Lisa, I went and looked up your site. It is not the original emagrece sim. They are calling it emagrece thin and on the bottle it is called the brazillian diet. But it seems to have alot of the same ingredients mine has in it...I don't know what diet pill actually cause all the stir to say what is right or wrong...the ingredients don't look harmful, check some of their eferences if you'd like...they are at the bottem of the web pages after you click more information.

As for eveyone that ordered for NYemagrecesim, I got my UPS tracking # probably an hour after ordering and at first it just said they had not scheduled a pick up or drop off, but this morning when i check it said delivery wa on time and it was...but i did pay $46.00 extra for it, they also sent me a reciept that they charged my card immediately. When I got my order there was a business card in there and i called the number cause i had a few more questions and she picked right up here is the number in case its different from the website, i don't remember the website phone # and can't find it. Did anyone on here use Diet Fuel from GNC around 1999 or so. I used it and I lost about 40lbs in about 6 months. I am hoping this product does much the same as I've tried everything else out there and it's didn't even come close to what Diet Fuel did for me at one time.

Rica - I took your advice and called, and the lady gave me my UPS tracking number. After I hung up, I received an email from QuantumView (?? whoever they are) notifying me of my UPS tracking # for my shipment from NYEmagreceSim.

So definetly call them rather than waiting for emails.

SLK, I think you lost weight with Diet Fuel because that had ephedra in it. Now they don't make it like they use to, so it doesn't work anymore..I use to take Metabolife 356 with ephedra and it worked great, but since they banned it, I can' find anything that works, so hopefully this Emagrecesim stuff will work...Rica

I realized it was the missing ephedra. I am just surprised that someone in the U.S. hasn't come up with something that works just as well or better. I was able to keep the weight off for the better part of 4 years but hit a year of complete emotional hell and packed most of it on again. Now that things are peachy I just need that extra kick to get going again.

Well, I just placed my order for level 4 (they were all out of level 5)from NYEmagreceSim.com. I'm 60 pounds overweight and tired of 1/4 to 1/2 pound a week loss.
