Brazilian Diet Pills Causing Stir

I have been reading these postings for the past 2 days. I thought the series on the "Today Show" mentioned that these pills were suppose to be taken as follows: 2 certain pills in am for your appetite and 2 different pills at bedtime. Did I hear this wrong? When I go to these sites you all have given...there is no mention of 2 seperate pills ?? I too have taken Ephedra and to be honest, I never felt better, nor did I ever look better. Instead of taking the suggested dosage of 3 pills a day, I only took one in the morning. I think everything in moderation....but, like most things, some people will abuse them.

Elise - That was my understanding as well. I remember them mentioning that the pm pill supposedly contained valium and a trace of generic prozac. All of the sites I have visited talk about an orange pill and a yellow pill, however both are to be taken during the day.

Is ordering from NYemagrecesim.com safe???

It looks like the original one in the pictures and its for $170. Can someone tell me if I should order that one...is that the original Emagrece sim??? Thanks.

I ordered from NYemagrecesim.com on Monday and haven't heard back from them although they did charge my card. I tried to call them today and their phone is disconnected.

It's unfortunate to hear all sort of comments specially dealing with something I used and had WONDERFUL results with. I took "Emagrece Sim" sometime towards the end of November last year and lost 39 Lbs. in a 3 and a half months period. I can say that based on all the comments I've heard there's definitely all sorts of names and different ways of taking the pills which make no sense as well, But I guess there are people out there that do and try everything possible to get a buck out of you one way or another. I don't have anything negative to say fortunately about the pill, on the contrary. I've never felt better, I've managed to keep the weight off and I had tried all sorts of diet pills and even excersizing in the past. I never felt, hyper, never felt any withdrawals; instead I was very excited to have gone from almost a size 8-10 to a size 4. From than till now I fluctuate I can say perhaps 4-5 Lbs. on and off and I eat without really watching myself 100%. I would say the only thing is that I try not to eat after 6:00 of course
I know of at least 5 people I told them about it as well and they did try them and fortunately all stories are a success.... !!!

Rica - I ordered from the NY site on monday. They are out of Level 1 & 5 per an email I recd from them on tuesday (with lots of spelling errors, *red flag* feeling starting to develop). The first time I tried to call this morning a gentleman with foreign accent (hopefully it was a brazilian accent!!) answered the phone with just "hello" so I asked him his name he replied "Michael". I asked "Michael" if this was a business phone line and he stated yes, but they do not open until 10:00 am est. I waited until 10:00 am est then started calling, now the line just rings and magically disconnects after about 5 rings. As of right now I would have to say "NO" to whether or not it is safe to order with them. I will post if and when I get some results from them.

Better Yet!!! Yes... It's me again.... By the way..... I did take an 8 pannel Drug test and it was negative!!!

I work for a supplement mfgr. and in order for you to put any drugs into a product you hv to hv a license to even purchase it, which means it wld hv to be from a pharmaceutical company. There isn't one pharmaceutical mfgr in this country that wld risk doing so. These pills were brought into this country and apparently, since it is marketed heavily in the spanish market, didn't get much attention until now. The stuff that people were taking that tested positive for drugs was not stuff made here in the USA. Does the stuff made here in the USA work? I don't know, but I'm sure that the reason for the quick weight loss from the contraband stuff is why people saw such fast results!

well I have no idea how easy it is to get the originals outside of Miami, I heard that it is also big in New York. All I know is that as the days go by even people in Miami will have a hard time getting the originals

I have been taking the pills for one week and have finally lost weight! I feel great and I think that the bad press may be a scam, because there is something out there that will really help people lose weight!
Think of all the $$ all these weight watcher, Jenny stupid Craig and the rest of them that live off of our chubby society!

Kept trying to call and "Michael" answered the phone for NYEmagrecesim.com again. Inquired about my order (his english isn't very good and I had to spell and re-spell my info), he asked me my tracking #, told him didn't have one. I then went on to tell him about receiving the email and that I had replied to the email about receiving Level 2 in place of Level 1. After checking he said that he would send it out today. I told him that people were posting that the phone was disconnected and that I kept being disconnected after 5 rings or so. He said that the fax machine is also on the line and that was the problem with the phone line. About ten minutes after hanging up with him, I received an email that confirmed my call and that I was to receive Level 2 in place of the Level 1 and that a tracking # would be emailed to me shortly. Once again I will update you if and when shipment received.

Nancy - if your post about USA manufacturers was in regards to the NYEmagreceSim, that is just the site name. They represent themselves as a distributor of Emagrece Sim not a manufacturer in New York. The email received from them about being out of Level 1, states that their shipment of Level 1 from Brazil was expected to be received in a week. If that is not what you were referring to, please disregard. I have no idea if these people are legit or not, who knows they may be picking dandelions and packaging this stuff up in Idaho for all I know!!

I thin you are right Beatriz, I think people losing weight with pills hurts weight watchers type companies and the govt doesn't like it either, because they don't want us to be small there is more money making in people being overweight...resturants, grocery stores, Jenny craig, etc....it goes on and on...

I am not familiar with the SPEED diet pills. In fact the idea of taking anything that is not regulated scares me. I am a fan of diet pills. I have taken several in the past. Lately I have been taking one called "BRAZILIAN BASICS BODY SLIM". I have had great results. Their pills are produced in here in the US and are made of safe, all natural ingredients. There are lots of safe diet pills out there. There is no need in risking your life taking something unregulated.

Hey those of you interested I ordered from NYemagrecesim yesterday over the internet and paid the $46.00 extra for the nextday air saver shipping and i live in New Mexico and I got mine about a half hour ago and it is the real thing it has everything with it. It's the yellow and orange pills with the cream in the original box like the one on that picture. A lady told me that the bottle should be short and fat and they are, everything looks okay and i spoke to several people that told me to start at level two because i want to loose 30-40 lbs.and they said i need level 2 + 3 to loose up to 33 lbs 3 +4 to loose up to 44 lbs 4+5 to loose up to 55lbs level 1 is to loose only 11 lbs. I don't know about the phone # cause i called it yesterday too and asked about faster shiping and the lady spoke with a heavy accent and said you can do it on the website after speaking to a man. But it did ring forever befor someone answered and she just answered it hello. No buisness name. So i hope this helps any of you that wanted to know if this was the right ones i still plan on going to another websit and compairing the ingredients and making sure but it all looks like the original.

OK. I just can't believe all of you. Have you read the posts that say this pill can seriously harm you? I found this blog after typing "Brazilian diet" into google. I'm glad I went here before buying anything. Yes. I'm overweight. I know what it is like to feel and be fat. I once lost 65 lbs on phen/fen and gee I sure was thin. but now I have an elevated heart rate and, oh yeah, I gained all the weight back. Please Please PLEASE take a second and really think about why you want to take a pill that is so obviously bad for you...just to be thin. Most of us are NEVER going to look like a fashion model or one of those nudie pictures that Jam's (oct 17th posting) husband gets on his phone. But be realistic. Those women are not the norm. Plus I bet a lot of you think. “If I just lose the weigh I’ll be happy”. Do you really think a lot of those supermodels and porn starts are happy? How happy do you have to be to do porn? Come on ladies. It's not the girth that is making you sad... it the self worth that you have none of right now. Believe it or not small amounts of exercise (30 min, 15 min, 45 min, whatever) can raise your endorphin levels and actually improve your mood. If you feel better emotionally you MAY not feel the need to eat foods that are destructive to your diet. If you think I'm wrong then try exercising every day for one month for 30 min a day. Eat what you normally eat...don't overeat to compensate for your exercising...and you may lose a pound or two or maybe more but I bet you will FEEL better. And hey if you don't FEEL better then what have you lost by trying to prove me wrong? a few pounds?

Hi guys I just called the number that was inclosed with my product to ask the lady some questions and she told me alot her name is Vivian and she said she lost 18 lbs on one bottle - so that is about 45 days. and she guanteed that it was the original. She also said that you have to eat right, excercise and drink lots of water. So i am going to give it a try and see...if this blog is still up in a few weeks i'll let you know how it is going if not leave your e-mail addresses and i'll e-mail ya.

And by the way to all those sceptical all you got to do is excercise people...not to knock you or turn this into a fight but i have had a gym membership for a year and a half and go at leat 2 time a week and do three miles on the eliptical and do a light circuit weight program my husband a certified trainer has written for me and h have weighed the same through out the whole time, I also tried weight watcher and lost a little bit but unless you want to count points the rest of your life you or at least i gained it all back...I am at my same weight i have been at for 2 years. I don't eat badly and I don't gain weight i just can't loose it.
