Proprietary Blends: Secrets and Lies
Whenever I look at the nutritional labels on diet supplements - there is often an anomalous ingredient called a "proprietary blend". The blend lists it's ingredients but without the amounts. Independent researcher Will Brink has written some interesting notes on this:
A supplement that lists a “proprietary blend” on the bottle can be there for one of two reasons:(a) to prevent the competition from knowing exactly what ratios and amounts of each ingredient present in the formula to prevent the competition from copying their formula exactly (commonly referred to as a ‘knock off’) or
(b) to hide the fact the formula contains very little of the active ingredients listed on the bottle in an attempt to fool consumers.
Sadly, the latter use is far more common then the former. They see a long list of seemingly impressive ingredients listed in the “proprietary blend” none of which are there is amounts that will have any effects. This is commonly referred to as “label decoration” by industry insiders. The former use of the term is a legitimate way for a company of a quality formula from having the competition copy or “knock off” their formula and the latter use of the term is to scam people.

Nutritional Label of Xenadrine EFX
A mix of vitamins, minerals, and a mystical blend
...most people have neither the time or inclination to research all that info just to decide if they want to use a product and thus the many “proprietary blends” on the market that are no more then a long list of under-dosed ingredients.Xenadrine EFX is a good example. The nutritional label lists something called "Proprietary Thermodyne Complex". Which in turn contains three more proprietary blends:
Ingredients for Proprietary Thermodyne™ Complex: Tyroplex™ (proprietary blend of l-tyrosine and acetyl-l-tyrosine), Green Tea Extract (standardized for epigallocatechin gallate, caffeine and polyphenols), Seropo™ (proprietary cocoa extract standardized for PEA[phenylethylamine], tyramine and theobromine), Yerba Mate (standardized for caffeine and methylxanthines), dl-Methionine, Ginger Root (standardized for gingerols), Isotherm™ (proprietary blend of 3,3',4',5-7 pentahydroxyflavone and 3,3',4',7-tetrahydroxyflavone), DMAE (2-dimethylaminoethanol), Grape Seed Extract (standardized for catechins).
I am taking the solo slim extra strength. it is actually called star slim which is a repackaging. it has been 10 days and the weight's falling off - already 8 lbs. But i too feel the pressure in the chest, anxiety and wake at 4 a.m. with my mind racing. my body is tired but my brain is wired. i e-mailed the website for help with the insomnia. i have 40 lbs to lose and definitely am trying to weigh is this is safe.
ReplyCheryl, if you are experiencing anxiety or chest pressure, do not take the Star Slim. That is not a usual symptom experienced by others. You just may have an allergic intollerance to one of our ingredients. You may also want to try eating FIRST then taking your Star Slim, instead of taking it on an empty stomach, which will make it less potent for you inparticular. Others tell us that they feel no jitters or anything. We have thousands of successful customers who literally have no side effects like you are speaking of. You may just be more sensitive to one of our ingredients. I, for example, am highly allergic to oats and have bad reactions with oats, however oats are great for most of the population. This is just an example to share with you to show you that each of our bodies are different and some of us are less tolerant or have an allergic reaction to some herbs or foods that are healthy for others. Please discontinue if you personally have a reaction. That is not usual. Thank you... The Owner of Star Slim www.starbodies.com
ReplyI started Solo Slim about 7 weeks ago and after the first week started to have a little acne. I have never had an issue with acne. I thought it was just a life change, hormones, etc. Over the last 6 weeks they have only gotten worse. None of them have healed up. I have acne "eruptions" on my face, chest, arms, hips and a red bumpy rash on my neck, waist, and inner thighs. I have stopped the Solo Slim (2 days ago) to see if anything changes. I itch all over. Is it the Hawthorne, Lotus Leaf or the Main ingredient, Konjac Glucomannan that might be causing this reaction? Please help!
ReplyKaren I developed a rash around my waist and lower back also. I take 1/2 a pill a day and sometimes skip a day due to insomnia. I cut the jitters drastically by not drinkng coffee.
ReplyOMG!!! I had the same thing happen to me. I didn't think anything of it because I have VERY sensitive skin so I thought maybe I just used something I was allergic to...But unfortuneately it was the SOLO SLIM. I stopped taking it for a week and the rash and bumps went away!!! I loved Solo Slim beacuse I finally found something that worked for me and then that happened. I actually still take it just not everyday. I take it every 2-3 days and I am still losin weight but not having that nasty side effect.
ReplyI to have had the same reactions you are having..many do
Replythree things can cause it
iodine toxicosis (excess amounts of iodine can cause the acne like rash)
allergy to one of the herbs (many people have allergies to pollen etc; remember these are herbals ie PLANTS!)
dermatitis secondary to inflammation or skin texture.
I had the rash on my legs but always have had tendancy to rash at the hair follicules. Initially I blamed the soloslim and debated stopping it with the same dilemma...such superior results! I applied elidel which is Rx strength non steroidal anti-inflammatory for inflammatory skin conditions for two days along with gold bond advanced healing lotion every day and did not stop anything else. My rashes were gone.
I may have a sensativity and therfore an inflammatory response to one of the ingrediaents or I may have been eating alot of iodine containing foods at the time (actually I was) either way a few days later it was gone and when it comes back I simply put on the lotion and it goes away again.
ReplyI have been taking Solo Slim since the beginning of the year. Lost 20 lbs the first month! Now after three months, I am down 41 lbs!!! I have always been a late owl, so I can't tell if I am having problems with insomia. I am self employed so I get a lot of work done with all this energy. Finally got to go shopping, loved everything!. I didn't get the dry mouth until after the first month, but I am also not much of a water drinker. Some days worse than others, but for the results I got well worth it. I would like to go down another 10-15 lbs. I am watchful of what I eat, do have to remind myself to eat sometimes, but I am certainly eating a whole lot less at a time. I plan to stay on the extra strength for as long as I am still having the same results and feel great.
ReplyI was thinkin about trying Solo Slim, sounds like the stuff really works. However, it also sounds like something I took last year - to quickly lose weight b4 my wedding. It's called "SLIM 30" all natural with very similar ingredients to Solo Slim. Anyway, lost the weight, amazing results for the year (lost 15lbs) experienced EXACT same symptoms (insomnia, jitterness, fainted during blood test physical, heaviness in chest, etc...) but it did go away eventually and I was losing the weight!! However, as soon as i stopped taking them I gained ALL the weight back and more the pills didnt work when i tried taking them again - i was so dependant on them...u can google "Slim 30 Reviews" and find info and see the ingredients too. Very similar to SOLO SLIM. so i wonder if SOLO SLIM would work for me since I've tried a similar product and it stopped working for me??? hope this helps.
ReplyI have been taking Solo Slim for a week now, and I have lost 5 pounds. The only side effects I am having is dry mouth. I had insomia the first 3 nights, but since I have had no problems with sleep. I do not have any pressure in my chest, or feel any different. I guess it affects people in different ways.
ReplyI fill up alot quicker when eating, so I have not been eating as much which has helped. I do not crave anything, or really get hungry like before.
This is not a weight loss pill, you still need to eat right and exercise to loose the weight. My problem has always been portion control, I could eat and eat and seem to never get full. And Solo Slim seems to be controlling that. Good Luck!
does anyone know where i can buy Solo Slim in Toronto - canada? Otherwise where can I buy them online - trusted site, that will also ship to Canada, asap? Please help. I really want to try this stuff, keep hearing about it. BTW: if i've tried other diet pills and didnt work, would this Slim Solo still work for me? anyone know?? thx!
ReplyI took Solo Slim for abotu 7 days and had to give it up due to the anxiety and stress. I have been very stressed, but my chest hurt and my heart raced. This did not occur right away, but took 4-5 days to appear. I can sleep, but have crazy dreams. I also had chills and felt as if my mind couldn't think straight. I talk for a living and found myself fighting for the right words. I want to continue because I lost a few pounds and have no appetite. I might switch to every other day. P.S. It also took 2 days to feel "normal" again.
Replywell..this is day 2 for me. I felt fine yesterday...just no appetite or cravings which is fine with me. But this morning I felt nauseaus like I could get sick. I ate oatmeal (w/o taking pill) and feel tons better so I am wondering if I should only take this every 2 days! Seems like it would be ok but I dunno. Anyone done this? Or I may take out half of the ingredients in the pill to 1/2 my dose...
ReplyI've done something similar. I usually take solo slim for three days on and one day off. It seems to work for me. I'm guessing the nausea is from the lack of calories. There are days I only have 500-700 calories only because I do not feel hungry. Thats fine with me though. Oh yeah and I do get dry mouth pretty bad so I drink tons of water. Hope this helped.
ReplyA friend of mine (and several of her relatives) have lost lots of weight on Solo Slim so I decided to try it. Another friend said she had really elevated BP and racing heart after taking it for 2 weeks. I've only taken 3 pills and have lost a couple of pounds, had the dry mouth, no other symptoms so far but after reading these posts, I think the risks far outweigh any weight loss benefits. Just because something is herbal and "all natural" doesn't mean it's always safe. It was nice not craving sweets but I guess I'll try to lose the old fashioned way...cut back and exercise!
ReplySolo slim is easy and great. I lost 35 lbs in four months! however I ended up in the hospital due to flushed face, dizziness, high heart rate 102/70, major dehydration (I drank tons of water),canker sores in my mouth from my mouth being so dry, insomnia, and so much more.... It was a scary experience.
ReplyThe doctors said that most meal suppresants cause dry mouth, but didnt think the rest was related to Solo Slim. SInce then... I tried it again (This time, every other day) all the symptoms came back.... Great stuff, it works..but to me.. no longer worth it.
did you keep the weight off?
Replyomg! 102/70 is not high, 120/70 is normal wow, what people tend to believe because they see a few people complain about something. its all in your mind. i started taking solo slim in early oct 2008 i was a size 18/20 i am now a size 10/12 fitting lose. This pill helped me so much , i started drinking water because that is all i crave, stopped drinking soda since the day i started taking them , eat well balanced meals, and exercise daily now. so i hope you and everyone who reads this tries one bottle and see how it works for yourself.
ReplyI started solo slim about a month ago and I have lost 17 pounds. I had some side effects however they are starting to subside. I was feeling more anxious, some problems with sleep, constipation. I am not having as many problems as I once was. I think your body adjusts to the pills the longer you are on them. They do supress my appetite and make me feel full faster. I think it help with you metabolism. Taking flax seed oil helps with the constipation and seems to complement the pills.
ReplyCan anyone tell me what the long term side effects could be? HAs anyone asked their doctor about whats in them> I to have had amazing results and even stopped taking it and have easily maintained the weight that I have lost.. I want to keep taking to reach my goal..just worried about the unknown
Replywell..I am on day 7 (minus the weekend...I skipped taking them) I don't really note any particular weight loss on myself..maybe a few pounds..course I only have like 5-10 to lose. I feel great lately. No issues. Dry mouth isn't much of a problem for me. I drink water all day though so maybe it just doesn't have a chance to dry out. I am sleeping better now that I am adjusted to these. As far as constipation, it actually does this a litle bit but I take fiber pills as well and that seems to make a huge difference. I really do like these pills..I did however, cut caffeine out of my diet because I noticed it made me feel ALOT more jittery and anxious and severely affected my sleep...cut out the caffeine and it's night and day difference in restlessness during day and while sleeping. I will continue to try this for a little while longer. I eat (for the most part) really healthy and exercise at least 4 x's a week so hopefully I will knock off the last 10 lbs of weight that I want to lose for summer!!
ReplyWell, I've been taking solo slim for three days and I've lost about 3 pounds. They really do work and they don't make you jittery but, it is hard to sleep and I've felt a little heart pressure, nothing that I'm concerned about. I did figure out since it gives you so much energy you should try to use some of that energy exercising that way at night you'll be more tired and the pill will pass through a little faster. Does everything it says it's suppose to do.
ReplyI tried solo slim for 5 days because EVERYONE on my job is using it and bragging about it. It curbed my appetite and cravings immediatly, like within the first couple of hours, however, I experienced headaches, dizziness, nausea, I was jittery and often felt faint. Needless to say I stopped taking them and have not taken any since. I can say that I lost 8 pounds in the 5 days but I will also say that since its been two weeks since I've taken them I have gained 4 pounds back. The weight loss is not worth the way it makes you feel.
ReplyWell, it's been one week since I started taking solo slim and I've lose 5 pounds.
ReplyA co-worker and myself began taking solo slim on Friday and we both experienced the dry mouth and drinking lots of water like most people who wrote comments. I also noticed the immediate reduction in my appetite which i enjoy. I sleep like a log, but I have only been taking it for 3 days. I drink lots of natural juices (I juice alot), greens, fruits, shots of wheat grass nuts and whole grains. It really makes you forget to eat but I force myself to keep my regular eating schedule. I will continue to monitor its progress.
ReplyI just completed my 3rd month using SoloSlim. I have had some of the side effects mentioned (dry mouth, costipation, slight dizzyness), but these are so minimal compared to the continuing depression from being so overweight. I had been going to the gym and I didn't lose any weight. So after 3 months of using soloslim I have lost 38 lbs. You definately need to make sure that you are getting enough food and that you are getting the vitamins that you no longer get from the food.
ReplyMy mother and I just brought Solo Slim yesterday and after reading your comments I'm a little nervous about taking it. I think my main concern is, what happens when you stop taking it? One girl said that she wanted to eat a horse when she missed a day....I'm hoping once I do stop I don't end up heavier than I am now. =( Have anyone stop for a long period of time and experienced this?
ReplySherri.. I was feeling the side effects after about a week and ahalf.and quite taking them cause you dont really know what the long term effects will be.. I eat really healthy and already exercised 4 to 5 times a week..but the weight that i did lose while on it has stayed off
ReplyDoes anyone know what happens once you start taking the pills? do you gain the weight back? or does your stomach shrink?
Replyplease let me know
i meant when you STOP taking them
ReplyI have been on Extra Strength SoloSlim since April 11th. I have lost 20 pounds. Most of that was within the first month. I was also walking everyday on my treadmill. I noticed the dry mouth and feeling like I had extra energy right away. The dry mouth goes away and isn't as extreme unless I'm talking a lot. The energy "high" I used to have is gone, and I am still having trouble with falling and staying asleep. Ok seems like those side effects are tolerable and worth the weight loss. HOWEVER..... (sorry all you males out there who may not want to hear this) I have had my menstrual cycle 3 times since April 15th. All cycles lasted 7 days, were about 1 1/2 weeks apart and I just started again for the 4th time today! I've called and seen my PCP & have spoken with my OB doctor several times. I've had lab work done and I'm in perfect health (so the lab work says). My OB doctor asked if I was on SoloSlim? I lied and said "no why? I have friends on it should they be concerned"? She said she's had a few patients come in with the most unusual complaints yet they can't find anything wrong, only to find out later they've been on SoloSlim. She's told them all to stop immediatly. She never had a reason why they should discontinue the use....I'm concerned. Has anyone experienced this side effect and/or can anyone tell me why this is happening?
ReplyHi everyone. I started taking solo slim yesterday. I noticed an immediate decrease in appetite. I felt very upbeat. It wasn't a bad thing. This morning I woke up wide awake at 7AM. I was up last night until about 1AM so that it different to not be tired. I made my self fall back asleep though ebcause I did not want to be regretting it later today.
Lets see yesterday I ate a cheese omlete, a PB&J, and for dinner I had chicken parmigano pasta. I only ate about 1/3 of my dinner and I was so full.
I will continue to post and let everyone know if it is working for me... so far no lbs off, but its only day 2.
ReplyBoth my son and I started SoloSlim yesterday. We found it suppressed our appetite last night and we really didn't want to eat any dinner. Although, my son started feeling nauseaus and had the chills, I didn't have any symptoms so figured he might have a flu bug. Today, two hours after taking SoloSlim, I felt dizzy, my skin was crawling and the nauseau was extreme. I don't know if it is the SoloSlim or if we have a bug. I took a nap and then felt fine. I'm willing to give it a few more days to see how it goes.
ReplySo today is day 3. I have not had any negative side effects. I do find that I have more energy. I saw a posting where someone called it a happy pill. I can kind of see that. I have to say, I have not lost any weight, but yes again its only been a few days. I have had the energy I don't normally have, so basically it is working for me in the sense that I have got a lot of excdersise in.
Today a got up about 7 am, did 20 ccrunches and 20 sit ups. Then I took a long walk, and went shopping for about two hours. Okay men out there, that so was exccersise... I was walking! Then I came home and did 20 more sit ups and 20 more crunches.
I hope this weight starts falling off soon!!!! The side effects that others have written about I have yet to have, and I hope I don't.. we will see, I will keep you all posted!
ReplyI started soloslim on Thursday, so today is day 5 for me. So far I haven't lost anything, or gained, but I'm also PMSing, which I am usually up 3 lbs from my normal weight so its really hard to say. A friend of mine has been on it for almost a couple of weeks and has lost 10 lbs already, and in 3 days she lost almost 4lbs. I'm wondering when you start to notice you are losing weight, because I have heard such good things about this product and that it really works, but beginning to lose hope it will work for me. I notice my appetite decreasing, and i don't have those cravings anymore. Is it the decrease in food that makes you lose so much weight, or is part of what is in the pill that works? I haven't found my eating habits changing, as they weren't bad before...lots of fruit and veggies and whole grains and protein. And I go to the gym 4 times a week, and today (my 2nd day of going to the gym on these pills) that i have a lot more energy and could keep going longer.
Thanks for any input! :)
ReplyNatasha, I think the pill works differently for everyone. A buddy of mine lost 3lbs his first week, however I lost 10 in my first five days. I go to the gym maybe two to three times a week if I can. The main reason for weight lose though is the huge cut in your calorie intake. I'd say I have about 1/3 the calories I used to. I have had a few of the side effects like the dry mouth, nausea and get a bit dizzy now and then. Some days though I feel perfect. I usually take the pill three days on and one off. It seems to be working great for me. So far I've lost 35lbs. I hope this helped.
ReplyThis is unfortunate for customers to not know what is in their products. What I look for is which ingredients are listed first. You can at least get a better idea to see what is first on the list compared to what is last. The closer to the beginning the ingredient the more if it is in the product.
Replyok, now it's been approx 5 days since I started soloslim. the first 2 days i felt a little dizzy, nauseaus, chills, skin crawling. My appetite was suppressed and i felt this full feeling. but by the third day i didn't notice anything. weird. and when i got on the scales i'd gained a pound! two days later i'm still not experiencing any side effects, appetite suppression or fullness and have felt very hungry. but...i've lost 2 pounds! hmmm...we shall see.
ReplyIt has been 5 days since I started taking the solo slim. I didnt have any side effects the first few days. Wednesday I woke up with a horrible headache and it has been reacurring since then. It is controlable with a little tylenol. I also started with the insomnia that a lot of people have talked about. I was up all night Wednesday night and got about an hour of sleep. Last night I actually got more sleep but kept tossing and turning. It is weird though because I am wide awake all day and not a bit tired.
I also noticed that I do have the constipation, that some have talked about. The side effects are not that bad though. I get hungery but am full after eating just a little bit. The first few days I wasn't that hungery and had to remind myself to eat. Now I find that I am hungery but full after eating just a little. Weird.
I have a lot of energy. I have excercised every day since I started taking the pill. I feel really good. Okay now for the weight. The fist few days I did not notice any weight loss. Now I am wagering between 3-4 pounds lost. Some days I gain back a pound then it goes back away. I am kind of thinking I shouldn't weigh myself everyday since it fluctuates. If I continue to loose weight then I will continue with the pill. I hope I do, but since the weight has gone up and down I am a bit worried... anyway I will keep you posted. Sorry so long!!
ReplyI used Solo Slim for 7 days. During that time I experienced a weight loss of 5 pounds and extreme side effects, including severe and continuous headache, nervousness, shaky hands, dry mouth, queasiness and insomnia. I have stopped using Solo Slim as of yesterday 6/9/08 and am still experiencing dry mouth, queasiness, and headaches a day later. Hopefully all side effects will subside soon. I cannot recommend this to others.
Replyhmmmmmmm 2 weeks and only 3 pounds.....i was expecting more i guess, as i haven't been eating nearly as much as i had before i started taking them.
Replydont need to take it read others people have died of this it does not say but my friend lori pazell died of taking it DONT take the SOLO SLIM I MEAN IT SSSTTTOOOPPP
ReplyI have been taking soloslim extra strength for six days. The only side effect I am experiencing is continuous headache and lack of sleep (weird dreams when sleeping). I have lost about 4 lbs. and want to keep taking it. I can deal with not sleeping, but the headaches are really making it hard for me to go about my daily routine. Do the headaches subside?
ReplySound like by the negative side effects, you would have high blood pressure, and should not take a supplement that will increase your metabolism and heart rate. You might want to try regular strength. Bottom line is, everybody's body is different and some can handle more then others. One might be able to start on extra strength, or might be really sensitive and take 1/2 of regular strength. The dry mouth has been a great thing for me because it forces me to drink a ton of water. I have lost nearly 40lbs, and have never felt better in my life.
Replyokay so two weeks now that I have been taking it. The side effects are now limited to dry mouth. I have not got the headaches recently. I have however started having my menstrual period twice in two weeks. I did some research and it states that you will have abnormal cycles for the first 3 months. Not too bad of a side effect if it takes the weight off!
ReplyAnyway I have now lost 8 pounds and feel really good. I excercise daily. I want to be sure I lose it where I want to lose it. Anyway, just checking in.
hi Erika good job! try drinking at least three 1.5 liter waters a day.. you might be able to get rid of the headaches because it's probably dehydration and you'll probably loose more weight
Replychecking in...i have not lost any serious weight...5 lbs in 4 weeks..but, i have been majorly increasing my strength training...(which causes weight gain) and have still dropped some...but most importantly..my body fat has gone down significantly! I have no side effects now and for the first week or so I had "certain times" that I felt like hell...
Replyanyone notice this is one of the only sites people actually discuss this product..anyone found any other reviews or discussions w/ solo slim?
as far as side effects in taking regular strength Soloslim- I have had the dry mouth along with canker sores, but lost 10 lbs at one month. I bought a second bottle but am wondering does anyone know if the side effects on the extra strength Soloslim are more intense or any different? I'll put up with the discomfort for now because I love that the scale is moving in a positive (negative) direction and I have had more energy, no cravings... food hasn't called my name in a month, I eat heathly stuff, I'm actually thinking about what I eat because I know I need to eat and not just because it's there.
ReplyHey Karen,I have been taking extra ,and it seems that they have the same effects, dry mouth, constipation, restlessness,I hope they go away though,I love the results so far.Good luck!
Replyi'm just curious as to what you all eat while taking Solo Slim. the first week i had to make myself eat, but now I do get hungry come meal times. On thursday it will be 3 weeks, and so far (weighed in last thursday and only had lost 4lbs in 2 weeks) and this past week I don't feel like i lost anything. I eat my breakfast, lunch, and supper (which still isn't much - oatmeal and a fruit for breakfast, weight watchers meal or a sandwich for lunch, fruit for snack, and usually a meat and veggies for supper, and maybe a couple snacks thru the day (which is usually fruit or something low-fat, low-cal). I haven't been going to the gym much the past couple weeks as i get so tired from the insomnia with these pills i have no energy, but now i'm starting to sleep a little better and plan on exercising more. but i have also read that some people lose the weight without even exercising.
I have ordered the XStrength formula and will start that when this bottle is done. I HOPE to be down another 10 lbs by the end of that bottle! But i'm just wondering if i'm eating too much? not enough? and is it the decrease of food that makes u lose, or is it partly the pill itself?
ReplyToday is day two for me on SoloSlim and I feel great. However, I have been constipated (which is a problem I had before the pill, I've had dry mouth episodes, and a little jittery feeling in between meals. None of the side effects are enough for me to stop taking the pills. I have had more energy and am having to make myself eat and now have a set work out routine to follow. My goal is to lose 35lbs. From the looks of things with this product I should be able to lose all the weight in about months. Wish me luck and I will keep you guys posted!!
ReplyIt's day three and I am feeling really great. I haven't had any side effects today other than the dry mouth. I still have a lot of energy and am on my way to losing my 35 lbs. Hopefully I will have a good post for you guys within the next week!!
ReplyI've been taking soloslim for 6 weeks & I've lost 10lbs. I drink at least 3 liters of water a day a I eat very healthy.. but I do notice some fatigue and headahes but once I'm in the gym i work out harder so I guess I'm not that fatigued.. and I havent had a menstral issues yet.. I'm afraid to stop taking it and I'm wondering if you do stop and go back on later will it still work for you? and how long is it safe to take it.
ReplyI purchased Solo Slim 3 days ago and took my first one Friday morning. I didn't feel hungry most of the day and worked out 1 1/2 hours at the gym I had so much energy. So far each evening I haven't felt tired and have had difficulty sleeping. I am hoping to remedy this by taking melatonin in the evenings before bed.
Positive side effects so far_
More energy
Increased sex drive
Perkier mood
Lost two pounds (I've also been going to the gym everyday and spending at least an hour on the elliptical).
Negative side effects-
Having trouble falling and staying asleep. Never had that problem before.
I am thinking that M-F should be fine and take a break on the weekends. I am not constipated but I do eat a lot of fiber.
ReplyHi everyone. Just checking back in. It has been 3 weeks now and I have lost a total of 11 pounds. I am about to order my next bottle. I think I might go with the extra strength. Most of the side effects have subsided. (Thanks Lisa for the suggestion). I still have dry mouth. I drink soooo much water. That is a good thing though, so no complaints.
