Oh yes, of course, there are many different definitions of "bulky". I've seen people call teeny weeny Evangeline Lilly "bulky" and "manly", when she is a wisp of a thing to me. I'd call someone like Janet Jackson "bulky", to me it is someone who has a lot of muscle, but still quite a bit of fat too.

It is also pretty normal to gain muscle without losing fat at first and then get bigger for a while, when you start weight training. I thought my shoulders got bigger when I started weight training, but in a couple months, I was leaner there than I'd ever been. It is a temporary thing.

I also think that the fact the exercise you were doing was more like callisthenics than like regular weight training had an impact. I've seen people who do tons and tons of sit ups get hard abs that stick out, as opposed to people who just train their abs using them to stabilize their bodies in stuff like squats, doing 3 sets of 6 repetitions or so, with heavier weights.

i'm 32 5'7 and about 200 lbs . i startd gaining weight about 4 years ago from meds , i had my doc change my script. but cant get rid of the weight - i'v tryd it all and found nothing that works .my weight is staring to cause depression - and if this product "WORKS" let me know and i'll buy stock.

Hey,
Im a Ballet Dancer and im 5'5 1/2 and weigh 115 or so and really want to get down to 100 or 105 i've started the whole starvation thing and have just been drinking tea with out any added anything which is good its also good because it makes you have to go to the bathroom and let out alot of pee which can make you lose weight but i was wondering if there where any other quicker ways to lose weight like to lose 20 pounds in 3 or 4 days.
if any of you have any suggestions i would appreciated them. Thanks

I took ex-lax for a year to lose alot of weight. It made me very sick and I was in the er 100's of times for dehydration. I also couldn't go to the bathroom without it. It is horrible and you can end up screwing your system up forever. You could need a bag that gets rid of it for you, which you carry with you 24/7. Don't do it. As soon as you get off of it you gain weight twice as fast. I did it and I am trying to recover from my eating disorder. To everyone don't try it and watch what you eat and you will be fine.

ok ladies. um. i know that this is about LOSING WEIGHT and crap.
but you all are very helpful, but i have this little problem.
Um. If ive been stressed for the last weeek, and my period hasnt came.
Uhh! when will it!?!! im freaked.

okkk um 1st of all... Allison.. you're menstrual cycle can be delayed becuase of alot of things. one of them is stress.. or like losing too much weight. you can regulate your period by using birth control pills.


ok about the 24 hour diet.. my age is 16 I weigh 115 pounds and i'm 5'3.. i want to weigh 109 pounds by spring break.. Um about 2 days ago i bought the 24 hour juice thing in wallgreens.. and i was planning on doing the diet on sunday.. but i'm probably going to lose like 2 pounds but still.. i want to know if its the kind of weight that you'll gain back the next day.. can anyone help me??

Obviously, you are very uneducated about fasting. Fasting is the natural cure for almost every ailment and disease in the body, even obesity. Such as the Master Cleanser. Educate yourself before calling people Crazy. I am a registered nurse. Fasting=starving the body.
Stop with the nonsense. and:
high school girls-eat. Workout. If you are wanting to lose 5-10 lbs, work out. eat a lot, of HEALTHY FOOD. And, eat often. Keep that fire buring all day. you may not see the numbers on the scale, but the fat will go-the toned legs and arms and abs will follow.
and enough about this spot training one spot. Doesnt work that way. If you are underweight-stop killing yourself. Thats what you are doing. Think-It may not be about the scale, or the mirror, its about whats inside that is making you think you need to lose it. talk to someone. YOu can get so skinny, you cause permadent damage. Remember, no brain food=starved brain=brain will actually shrink from the skull. (atrophy) Not 'cool'.

im a recovering anorexic and all i can say to all of you 13 year olds who are actually visiting these websites and trying to loose a miracle 5 pounds are stupid! this drink may work for a day but it will all come back to you once u eat normally. i recommend eating real foods! no man made bars, power bars, granola bars, chips, ect. try yogurt with high protein cereal and bluberries for break fast, hardboiled eggs for snacks, salads, lentil soups, carrots with hummus, trail mix if u crave sweets, and lots of water! i promise weight loss! just dont be stupid like me! i almost died, i dropped 30 pounds in a month and almost had heart failure. ur body is a temple! dont abuse it!

ill go ahead and tell you, i tried this f-ing drink and it did not work!!!!!!!1 i am on LA Weightloss and they have a drink called TakeOff which is almost like the 48 HOUR stuff, except you can eat with TakeOff and it actually works! i lost 9 lbs in 2 days!

ok so i ended up doing this thing and this @#$! did NOT work. not only was i starving buti was craving all types of foods. just eat healthy and exercise.. what a waste of 10 dollars and a WHOLE day without eating.

I don't really need to lose weight, I'm just in a bind about fitting into my dress for a frat formal. I need a way to lose like an inch or two so that I can fit into my dress by saturday. Any ideas? I really dont think this drink is for me...I cant work and be on the toilet at the same time. lol

for all you young girls who think you are fat and need to lose weight you really need to look in the mirror and decide if you are really fat or if you just don't like what the SCALE says. if you are really fat then doing STUPID things like taking that hollywood miracle diet dring is not really going to do it for you. you need to exercise and eat at least 1200 calories per day to keep you metabolism up. if you do these other diets your weight will come back on by possibly 2 or 3 X as much. i currently work for curves and i too am trying to shed pounds but more importantly inches are what matter most. if you eat right and exercise a combo of cardio and strength training you will SUCCEED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok so this supposedly gets rid of belly fat right? does this involve like pills, laxatives, or stopping eating? its hard to have a social life if everyone thinks you are anorexic. and laxatives and pills are a big waste of money most of the time, plus i don't think its healthy to do that. so can you help me, tell me how this is a good idea, and what are we supposed to do becuz i have tried almost anything i can not involving money and its not working out. help i need fast improvement

hey...my name is coy and i am about 5'6 and 161 pounds...(i hate sharing my wieght) but im 15 and i really need to loose some wieght..ive struggled with this for years now, and this is the most ive ever wieghed. i neeeed to loose it...FAST..i look ok, and im sort of ok with my body, but still insecure and need to loose the stomach..and ive tried ALOT of things...almost everything and nothing works...SO CAN SOMEONE HELP ME NOW!?

the period thing is ok, it happens to me sometimes and its just your body, you'll have your period soon, its just trying to balance out. =]

dont get yourself down,and dont starve yourself because thats the worst you can do.

Coy, improve your diet and increase your activity. Do it gradually, not FAST. You want a lifestyle that will last not have you struggling for years. Try to be happy with how you are and strive to get better. That will really serve you best in your life. Good Luck!

Coy, any kind of fast weight loss will also be a temporary weight loss. To lose 5lb the healthy way, it will take you around a month. That is not that bad.

This "diet" is no such thing. It is just a laxativa which is helping you shed water. This is a form of weight loss in that you way less however it is not 2 fat loss so anyone who wants to lose the tire this is not going to help at all. ANyone can lose 5lbs in a day just dont eat and run lots to sweat out the water its cheaper and probably safer than putting your body under the strain of a laxative!

wuzup im in wrestling 2 and what u need to do is dont eat nothin the day of weigh in except a very light breakfast dont drink any water chew gum and spit before weigh ins buy a sauna suit or get a trashbag or 2 and run about an hour and 1/2 if you still are worried about weight take a strong laxitive you will lose at least 5 pounds it'll come back though because all u lost was water weight.goodluckReply

All right, now that is disgusting. That nasty girl who weighs like 72lbs? Gross. Either youre lying, bragging, or suffering from a sever mental disability. I am a teen, 5'1, and weigh 84 lbs. I know that I'm not fat. I know I have a healthy weight and dont need to lose or gain weight. You need to gain weight ASAP.

I am a 13 year old 5'4 and i weight around 127. I'm an athelete and i need to eat a lot to have enough energy,but I don't know my limits on eating too much.My stomach is pretty chunky but everywhere else on my body is muscle so I just need to work on getting a flat stomach.I go to school with a lot of very skinny girls and i feel really fat when I am around them.I interested in learning how to lose weight fast,and if this stuff really works.Thanks.

HI Rachel,

You're athletic, you're 13, and you can probably run circles around your skinny friends. It sounds to me like you're doing fine. Your body will keep changing, so don't stress about a chunky belly. Do keep up with your athletics, and be sure to eat enough while avoiding junk food if you can. Don't try to lose the belly quickly - that kind of fat is the slowest to lose.

If you want to learn more about your limits on eating too much, talk to your coach or PE instructor. Almost all popular approaches to dieting and food in general are aimed for older people whose don't exercise. That's not you.

Ok...people how about we try working out and not eating crap?...There's a solution. You didn't gain that extra weight overnight and it is not healthy for it to come off overnight. Yes, yes...people lose those extra pounds but what they don't tell you is they gain it all back. Do not get pulled into the "Hollywood" stereotype of what you should look like. Be healthy and work out that is the best and healthiest thing for your body. I leave you with one of my favorite quotes.

Mikaela, if you lose 15kg or MORE, you'd weigh around 30-35kg, so 66-77lb. That is the weight of a small child. You say you are short, but you must mean around 150cm, not around 130cm, which is the appropriate height for such low weights. You have a problem if you think those are appropriate weights for a woman.

I did the 48 hour hollywood diet diet and i lost 5 pounds in a matter of 5 hours...but the next day i didnt lose anything and then no matter how much i worked out i couldnt budge the 5 pounds and i just weighed myself now and i gained the 5 pounds back....

Desperate: I have a 16 year old daughter, your height, and she weighs a beautiful 120lbs. If she was at your weight she'd be in the hospital. I'm scared for you. You need to see a doctor and get some help. Being that thin and trying to get thinner clearly indicates a deeper problem.

I'm 15, 5'9 and 140. I'm going to Fl in 2 days and i want to not have muffins hanging over my bathing suite. Will just plain not eating and excercise do the trick?
