Burger King's Big Fat Strategy
A number of months ago Burger King released their 730 calorie Enormous Omelet Sandwich - to the astonishment of many. They've soon realized they are onto a good thing - "Have It Your Way" says the new slogan.
Burger King are aiming for the fast-food addicts.
Burger King discovered that although fast-food fans made up only 18 per cent of the population, they accounted for almost half of the company's profits. Burger King did market research that found its best customers were men aged 18 to 34.The company is planning to introduce more menu items to cater for these customers, such as extra spicy chicken burgers and coffee with 40 per cent more caffeine.
At least they are being straight up about it. I can't remember the last time I stepped inside a Burger King.
More like this in Fast Food

When people stop eatting this kind of food, fast food places will stop selling it.
The only thing fast food restaurants should be required to do is provide easily accessed and easy to read nutritional information, and stop advertising to kids.
Consumer's choice.
ReplyAnd now they have the King-Kong sized Triple Whopper. I'm sorry, there is no one out there that needs that much meat at once. I have no idea how many calories the thing has, but it's got to be a lot!

I wouldn't say that. Each patty is 4 oz, so you're only talking 12 oz total (before cooking). I used to eat a 16-20 oz steak after my training sessions in high school. Note though that these sessions would literally reduce me to the point where I was crawling on the ground for several minutes, and you have to do some truly wretched things to get that to happen in a teenager. Steve Reeves ate 16 oz or so of meat at dinner every day. I never got fat from it, and my cholesterol stayed in the 160-180 range.
However, if in your statement you replace "no one" with "no sedentary person", then you're right on the money.
ReplyBK rules!!!! Triple whopper with cheese,... and the quad stacker or something like that is even bigger.
Replyha, i love reading all the comments left behind, i can bet they are all from people who used to be fat slobs or people who, at one time in their life, could only just see the tips of their toes, the fact is BK sells fast food and thats all people care about now, how long it takes to get your food, they don't care what's in it, just so long as they get it quick.
