Breaking Habits With The Enjoyable Diet
In the weight loss industry there are a number of individuals working one-on-one to assist people with weight loss. Unlike the larger corporations, there is no hiding, and a much higher level of accountability.
One such individual is Mary Crawford who has authored a weight loss program called "The Enjoyable Diet".
The Enjoyable Diet is based on the Habit Principle: It takes 21 days to form a new habit. You get "hooked" on normal eating in 21 days. By Day 22, you are comfortable eating less food and have lost your food cravings and compulsive eating habits.
Mary's program is not so much about specific foods or restrictions, but simply about learning how to eat less. While some overeating is caused by emotional issues that need addressing, there are some of us who simply have made bad habits (like getting that huge piece of cake with our coffee...)
The core of the Enjoyable Diet?
The first day, the Limit day, you eat a small amount.
The second day, the Target day, you eat a larger amount.
Simply alternate the two days until you get to
your weight goal; then, drop the Limit day.
