Denise Austin Fit Forever: Blog and Review Part 1

I have been working out at 7:00 a.m. with Denise on the Lifetime Channel since last year. The show has just been removed from the 7:00 slot. Is there anything that can be done to get it reinstated? I have friends who are also disappointed that it is gone.

Does anyone know about how many calories are burned during Denise Austins light and fit? All the ones I have DVR'd she doesn't mention. Any help thanks.

Please bring Denise Austin back to lifetime in Laurens, South Carolina. I get up every morning at 6:45 and her her show use to come on at 7. I only have 30 min and that is the perfect timing for me. She has great workouts for women like myself in their
40's. So please bring her back to lifetime!!!!!!!!!

I to am very upset about Denise Austin not being on Lifetime TV. I have worked out with her for years, I look forward to listening to her good eating habits.
She has great advice. Bring her back on. Please.

Where is Denise Austin???? How can I write to Lifetime to bring her back?? It's Springtime and now is when she's needed more than ever!

I have been exercising with Denise Austin since the 80's and i was so disapointed not to find her this past week on life time tv. What can be done to get her back on the air? She is a great positive energy and more women should be following this workout, we would all be better human being, because Denise help us love ourselves and then we can then go out and love others...Now that, is important in life!!!!!!

I am from Maine and i need my workout daily, please bring back the positive energy that this wonderful person give us everyday of the week..Denise Austin is a rear soul, please don't take her away from us...she is a large contribution to many women's happiness!!!! thank you for understanding the need of others.

I am another long time, many years, member of Denise's Fit & Lite group. Us guys feel sort of under cover but I like the excerises and her presentation. I can still get her on an espn station but wonder why Lifetime took her off. I watch a lot of life time programs but they made a mistake this time. Bring her back..PLEASE

I've faithfully worked out with Denise Austin since 1987 both on ESPN and Lifetime. I can't believe Lifetime pulled the plug!! I understand she will have a new show on in the fall, but couldn't you please give us the reruns on Lifetime, Fit TV, or ESPN until then?

And I also read on her website that her new show will be starting in the fall but I didn't see if it will still be Lifetime (i imagine it would be) But still why can't they play reruns till then, Fall is a long ways away & we have bathing suit season coming quickly, We need Denise back

you can go on the lifetime.com website and select contact us on the bottom and you can email lifetime directly, I did it and they responded saying that Denise Austin will not be back on Lifetime!! What a mistake on their part!

What happened to Denis Austin Fit & Lite Daily Workout on Lifetime at 7:00 a.m. I set my clock for 6:50 a.m. every morning to get ready for a Denis Austin workout and it was replaced with some silly show and no Denis. I was so upset. I hope this is not a permanent change. Those programming execs really missed up this time. I have worked out with many different instructors over the years, but have not had such wonderful results or enjoyed working out as much as I have with Denis Austin's show. With the show being outside with beautiful scenery from around the world makes it a more enjoyable experience instead of working out with someone in a stuffy studio. Lifetime, please bring her show back.

I have been working out with Denise for years. She is a great motivator, starts my day out with a smile. I'm going to be 60 this year and she has kept me moving! Lifetime has done a GREAT disservice by taking her off the air. Feel like I have no where else to go. What's up with the show they replaced her with?

I was so disappointed when I got up for my daily workout a couple of weeks ago to find Denise off the schedule. First Lifetime cancels the Podcast Exercise show at 7:30 and now Denise's. I have lots of tapes and DVDs but knowing Denise was coming on at 7am forced me to get out of bed and exercise. I am going to voice my opinion to Lifetime as I hope you all will. I can not believe that LIFETIME would take our beloved Denise Austin away from us. I live in here in Washington, DC and I started working out with Denise over 2 years ago. I lost over 45 pounds I felt great!! But then I had a baby and could not wait until I could start my routine over with Denise. To my surprise Lifetime has taken her off the air completly. Now I try to catch her on ESPN classic at 7am EST. Please let's all write and get OUR Denise back!!!!!!

I, too, was shocked to find not only Denise Austin off the air, but also Body Electic with Margaret Richards, cancelled as well. I don't understand why they cancelled 2 great work-outs in the middle of winter when our body's need the exercise most! Bring them both back please to the Chicago TV stations!

I too have been working out for more than 10 years with Denise. Luckily I found out that vintage Denise is on ESPN Classic at 730am weekday mornings.

Is there any way to get a tape or dvd of the tv shows? I've tried Denise's other DVD's and they don't work for me like Fit N Lite did. I am so sad! If anyone can help me out, please email me. I'll gladly PAY for copies of some shows!

I have been working out with Denise since I was 38 and am now the ripe old age of 70 and everyone says I look half my age, saying I look like my husband's daughter and my son's sister. I attribute this to exercising with Denise every morning. PLEASE bring her back to Lifetime. I know she is on the ESPN channel at times on the HD TV but it is not always on. I RECORD DAILY WORKOUT, AS IN MTN TIME IT COMES ON AT 5:AM, I WAS SO SHOCKED ALMOST DEVASTATED WHEN I REWOUND MY TAPE, AND NO DENISE, I COULDINT BELIEVE IT. YOU KNOW IT WOULD BE REALLY NICE IF THEY WOULD LET YOU KNOW ON THE GRID, WHATS GOING ON. I HEAR SHE WILL BE ON IN THE FALL, I ACTUALLY CALLED LIFETIME HOWEVER, IT WAS TO A VOICE MAIL AND THE WOMAN NEVER RETURNED MY PHONE CALL. and cannot figure out why this was taken off Lifetime,
and from all the other comments, no one else can either.

I agree we need to get Denise Austin back! Fit and Light is the most inspirational feel good workout show out there. I wish I could the whole show on DVD. I just took it for granted that she would always be there:(

I too was very sorry to see Denise Austin's Fit for Life workout on Lifetime at 7:00. I always looked forward to working out with her every morning before I went to work.
I really enjoyed her hour fittness show, but Lifetime cut her back to a half hour. That was better then nothing. I can't believe what Lifetime put in her place!!!!!. Bring Denise back!
