500 Posts and New Categories
Actually Diet-Blog is up to 560 posts, and because of this I've had to do a substantial consolidation of categories. Things were getting a bit disorganized.
Some of the new categories are Media Watch, Diets (for posts on specific diets), Body Image, Food has been split out into Fast Food, and another new category called Weird. That's where I put anything strange or funny or... whatever.
If anything is broken please tell me!

I have been on a diet all my life, tried everything, Weight Watchers, South Beach diet, they all worked at some point, I went down to size two, that was in the summer of 2004, after that I gained little by little, a total of 10 lbs and I cannot seem to loose 1 or 2, I joined a gym and still don't see a difference, if I go back on any of those diets, they don't work anymore or I loose very little. I really think that my metabolism has slowed down badly because if I eat whatever I want and as much as I want I am up with 3 lbs in 3 days. But I also have bad eating habits, while I make dinner for my kids, I keep tasting and tasting, by the time dinner is ready, I have already eaten too much. Anyone think that WL4I would be helpful? Thank you.
ReplyI have just started the WLFI yesterday and have a few questions. Wondering if anyone out there who has been on it successfully can help answer. When you have your omelette- can you use cheese? Scrambled eggs allow cheese but it does not specifically say anything about cheese in the omelettes. Wanted to buy the frozen omelettes in the grocery store but wonder about the cheese as they all have cheese. Also can you use sugar free creamer in coffee? Not alot just dab to lighten. I am anxiously wondering what will come off in the 11 days. Have tried everything -just need to shake about 15-20 lbs. So far pretty easy- mainly it keeps me from snacking and eating between meals which probably why I need to lose the weight. Thanks!

Replyi have a few questions. if anyone could help me out that would be great. so i want to lose about 20 pounds so i guess i'm wondering how long that will take on this diet. secondly, once i lose the weight and stop the diet won't i just gain all the weight right back? how do i keep it off if this is true? lastly, on the three days of cheating can you drink alcohol, such as beer, etc? oh and one more thing ...how much does walking make a difference everyday for 45 minutes or 30 mins twice a day? thanks so much guys!

ReplyWell you almost had me sold, but it's now December 27th. I'm about to begin the quest of fat loss and nobody has posted anything since October? What happend to the close knit family of WL4I?? Alisha did you lose your 115 lbs, are you close? Did this diet kill you guys? It seems this blog folded faster than Superman on laundry day.

ReplyI've read all three pages and have decided to give this a go! I've been on the Atkins diet for about two years and went from 185lbs to 138lbs... but then I went to visit my kids in England in April and started gaining again. I'm now 151lbs and going to a cruise at the end of January... I'd be happy to lose 8lbs or so...
So Trav, if you're up for it I'll post comments on here from time to time and let you know how it's going. Want to do the same?
