Amazing Diet Patch: FTC Orders Shutdown
We are not able to verify yet, but we've heard word that the Federal Trade Commission has ordered the Amazing Diet Patch website to shut down and cease the sale of it's diet patches. The Amazing Diet Patch has been one of the most hotly advertised diet patches in recent months.
It could be in response to a number of recent consumer complaints (another here) due to overcharging or not supplying the product. Or perhaps from this lawsuit filed in Illinois.

ReplyLike everyone before me, I too ordered the "Amazing Diet Patch", paid way too much for it, used it for a few months with NO RESULTS and sent an email to inform them that I was not satisfied, and was told to return the unused portion within 120 days, for a 100% money back guarantee. That was over 1 year ago, and after numerous attempts, have not been able to further contact them. This company has scammed hundreds, if not thousands of customers. This should be a lesson to us all. Ordering over the internet instead of a brick and mortar building is not as secure. You don't know who is taking your money, or if you are going to receive the product. Everyone needs to be cautious. If it seems too good to be true, IT IS!
ReplyRead the fine print before you order so-called "Free Trials". There is usually a small disclaimer stating that if you order the free trial and dont like it you can send it back for a refund. But if you do like the product, do nothing and they will send you how ever many they want at a full charge to your credit card.
If it sounds to good to be true it probably is adage really does apply. We ALL wish there was a magic patch, potion, pill, etc that would help us with the battle of the bulge. The only thing that has ever really worked for me is 1)exercise 2)watching what I eat 3)exercise. If those aren't working for you then you're doing them wrong. Simply ask your doctor for advice. And did I mention.....exercise?!?
