Success With Slim-Fast
Slim-Fast have been airing a commercial for their latest success story Andrea Gulley-Robinson.
Gulley-Robinson attributes her weight loss to the usual simple reasons: exercise and a change in eating habits.
It's interesting to note how she chose a weight loss program:
...she researched different diets on the Internet. She settled on the Slim Fast plan because the company's Web site did not portray rail-thin models as ideal. "You don't have to be a skinny-minnie to be beautiful," she said.
Congratulations to Gulley-Robinson - but remember this is just ONE person. Look for the "*Results Not Typical" text on every weight loss comercial - they have to put this there because it's the truth.

I'm always reading a lot of horrible things about plans like this ... that they're way too few calories and that the shakes and things aren't even that nutritious ... but I feel like people are missing one fundamental point: it's chocolate! I love chocolate milk, but a tall glass of it comes out to more calories than the slimfast slightly inferior cousin. And it certainly doesn't boast the vitamins that sf does. I agree that slimfast shouldn't actually replace your meals twice a day, but it's a great desert at night or anytime you feel a chocolate craving. It helps without the harm a lot of other options would give.
ReplyI agree, Slim fast is awesome! I take it 6 days a week when i work. it feels weird to eat real food again. I'm very active and am always hungry, therefore i eat. but because of that, i gained weight up to 160 lbs! i am now 130 bc of slim fast and need to lose about 10-20 more lbs. its true, they're like "healthy" choc. bars. if you follow the planm you will lose weight. DO NOT EAT 3 HOURS BEFORE BED! that is so many peoples downfall. Try to have the will power! (Im working on that now too)
Replyhey well i need to loose wait and i wont to lose alot so i am going to try slim fast wish me luck
