Beware the One-Insight Diet Book
What is a one-insight diet book? No it's not some new scientific diet. I'm talking about diet books that contain just a single concept, and then pad it out with waffle.
While writing writing this piece about Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle; I was also looking through some other ebooks.
It's amazing how people can write an entire book about a single idea. The idea might work - but it might only work for some people, and even then for only a short time. I'm talking about things like:
- Absolute macronutrient ratios
- Food combining
- Zigzagging calories
- The concept of negative calories
- Timing of food intake
- Ideas about the wonders of a particular food or food group.
Now all of these things have merit, but in your journey to fat loss, you might use all of these things!
