Diet Divas Defunct?

Well - no more DietDivas. And what about all of us who paid in excess of $100 to have 'lifelong' support? Is there no way to reclaim some of this? What a disappointment!!!

Well, I paid for the lifelong membership on DietDivas and I have been looking for days for the site. I didn't receive any information that they were closing. I purchased food from them and wrote them about the fact that I am diabetic and the food contained to much sugar. They wrote me back and said for me to eat 1/2 a protien bar instead of a whole. I should have known that they were not for real at that time. I have been with them for 6 months. Take the money and run must be their moto.

Hi. I had the same problem with diet divas, but I recently reported them the the bbb(better business bureau). IT would be great if all of us did that way if they try to start up again it will be difficult.

I was a lifelong member too and had not reached maintenance part of the diet,
do any of you have the maintenance part of the diet that I could get a copy

What a surprise. I had paid about $100 a little over a year ago, but had not started the diet since I was on coumadin at the time and did not want to take their vitamin pill (nor another brand) as they have Vitamin K in them which I could not take.

I am now off coumadin and started a diet with the L.A. Weight Loss Plan the middle of January. So, I just today decided to also use web encouragement info from Diet Divas along with the L.A. Plan. A friend told me about the L.A. and it has been wonderful and I have lost 22 pounds, going for a total of 60. Maybe the plans are similar, but I am very happy with what I am doing right now. I have to check in three times a week, but that is what keeps me determined to give up the junk food I have loved. It just does not look as good to me now. I think the face to face contact with a real person has helped me stay on their diet and I get enough food to eat so I am not hungry. And, it is a balanced diet to loose 2 pounds a week, which is safe.

However, I too would like my money back! I have learned a good lesson!

I had been a faithful diet diva for 2 yrs....with very good results. The end of Oct. I placed an order which of course hadn't arrived by the middle of Nov. I sent emails to all at DD including the shipping dept....all went unanswered...as did my three phone calls....however the day I placed my order is the same day they charged my credit card!!!!! I reported it to my credit card co....got my money back..THEN I reported them to the Florida Better Business Bureau and the Florida Attorney General...I suggest all who have been scammed do the same..

I, also, had a lifetime membership. I stopped doing the program last June because I became pregnant with my first child. I have now delivered the baby & am ready to start losing weight again. Imagine my chagrin to find that something I paid for a lifetime of is no longer available to me. I'm going to file a complaint, as well. I spent well over $100 to get 4 months of service from these people and when I reported my pregnancy, they completely cut me off from the message boards, but promised me that they would be there for me after my baby arrived. This is ridiculous.

Diet Divas was really a ripoff. As soon as you paid your fees, they basically ignored you and if you complained about not getting a response to emails, they would use the excuse "well, your email account must think our mail is spam--try changing your email settings". Paula was very rude and tried to act superior (didn't work though) whenever I did hear from her, which was very rarely. The " personalized weekly support" was nothing more than a form letter they sent out to everybody. What a waste of money.

I have not been following the Diet Divas program for some time now, but I just wanted to say that I never felt that it was a ripoff. I knew exactly what I was getting in to when I payed my membership fee. They told me right up front about purchasing the protein bars/shakes, etc. I always got immediate responses to my questions. When I first joined Paula was my counselor. I really think that maybe the business grew too fast for them and it was difficult for them to manage.

I am sorry for everyone that has been betrayed by the closing of this website. I hope that things get resolved soon.

Wow!! I never had a problem getting in contact with anyone either. I'm really surprised that so many had problems with the site. I went through some personal issues and went off the diet, then I moved and now I can't find my book, or anything showing my plan I remember how to do jumpstart and really want to start again but I just keep hitting walls trying to find the plan, anyone out there with it that is willing to help me?

I just tried to log in to the Diet Divas program today. I was on it two years ago, however, I only purchased the 6 month program for $59.90, but they were offering a special and I got a whole year.
The diet worked well for me. I lost 18 lbs. which made me feel great, but of course I've put almost all of it back. I never purchased any of their products and still lost weight.
I came back today to see if they were still in existence. I still have a copy of my diet, which I may try to follow again. Most of the support and answers to questions came from the members, not the owners, however, I did get answers to my questions, just a couple days later.
Sorry all of you lost your money.

I loved Diet Divas too, and was shocked and disappointed when they "disappeared". I found DD at the perfect time in my life and it worked GREAT for me. I loved the snacks and felt satisified, healthy, energized, and excited. I didn't use the counselor as much as the member's support, which I MISS SO MUCH. I would love to have a support group too Mary Anne, and will email you when my email is up and working again. Does anyone know where to buy the products now? Oh, praise God for understanding and generous credit card companies ~ they refunded the money for undelivered products, no questions asked!

I was on the diet divas program and lost 15 lbs.. I had a change in lifestyle and got off track.. now, getting back on track and was looking to Diet Divas for help! I too had the lifetime membership! What a bummer, loved the support! I do still have to program though so plan to go along with the plan... however, I did love all the recipes everyone submitted... luckily I printed a bunch of them out..
For those of you who only purchased your products from Diet Divas, there are other websites that are cheaper... http://www.i-shophere.biz/catalog.html ... there is a bit more variety but there are also some products that really wouldn't go along with program such as the cookies and chips and maybe some of the entrees... all of the nutritional value is available in the catalog so you can do some comparison with products you know were on program and go from there... Good Luck everyone! Don't let the failing of DD keep you from getting back on track! Start moving and shaking and saying no to the "Off-program" goodies!

Oh, and if buying on i-shophere.biz.... stay away from the Protidiet Hot Drinks. They're cheaper but they're nasty!! The Robard and Bariatrix Hot Drinks are good. Protidiet bars are good though.

I loved the program while it lasted. I too had bought the lifetime membership, and keep hoping that they will someday reappear. I lost about 25 lbs before they disappeared and it was working sooo well. As for the products, I went to nashuanutrition.com to buy my protein products because they were cheaper and much faster shipping. I'm pregnant now but plan to go back on my jumpstart and phase one by myself after the baby is born.

I was a member of Diet Divas way way back. I had no trouble with them. Everything seemed to be straighforward. I guess I did buy the life plan at $59 I think at the time. Didn't use the drinks or bars in the beginning but after hitting a road block with weightloss, I did start using them....I dropped 35 lbs very quickly. I too miss the support of the other divas. Perhaps we lost souls should make a yahoo webring.....so that we could continue.....Anyone Interested?

I purchased the lifetime membership also, got it for $89.95, have been off track for quite a while, and tonight said, 'well I have a lifetime membership, time to go back' Imagine my SHOCK that they were just GONE. Some lifetime membership. But what goes around comes around, they'll get theirs eventually.

Yes, I was ripped off by the Diet Divas as well. That said, it is the only plan I've been able to lose weight and stick with over time. I have gained 30 pounds back. I'm going to try to recreate the aspects of the DD program that worked for me.

If someone knows where I could get a copy of the Jump Start program as well as the pink program/meal guide, would you let me know? I can't find my copies. With a liftime membership, I didn't think I needed them. :)

I too used to be a lifelong member, some of us merged years ago onto our own lil yahoo site( 4 of us actually still there) but have surpassed the DD area and moved onto personal growth with each other.
I do have a JS plan and one plan for those that need to loose more weight, am working on getting the other plan for those that needed to loose less

Karen - it looks to me like the DietDivas.net site is completely unrelated the original Florida-based Divas.

Hello, I too joined diet divas lifetime membership, and all of a sudden they were gone. The plan wroked pretty well for me, I was on my way to reaching my goal. If anyone has any good recipes, please email them to me.

does anyone have the "divas jump start" diet?

Hi I was also a member of Diet Divas and found success with the program; however, fell off and have lost the results. Don't have the 'jump start' diet but would appreciate receiving it. Unlike others I had very good opinions on the service I received. I had placed an order for their products I suspect just prior to the site disappearing; however I did receive everything as ordered. I was disappointed to see this site disappear as it has been the only successful program I have tried in many years. I would also like to receive recipes if anyone has them. I just did a quick search today in hopes that the site was back up & discovered this blog - it was a good find.

I need the first part..the first few days before we go on to the more balanced things. I would be happy to share the Jump Start or Maintenance Plans with anyone. What I am after are any other recipes that were shared. I have a few, but would like to peruse some more. I used DD successfully years back and am back on the regime now. I do miss some of their supplements but have found some substitutes. Recipes would be helpful though. Thanks

I've just found this blog through Google. I'm starting yet another diet and other than counting calories, this worked for me even if it was a tad extreme. However, although being a lifetime member services from Paula and Co was pretty poor. Maybe due to the fact that I live in London, England, but I paid my money and expected the service they said would offer. Typical fly-by-night scam. Collect peoples' money and then disappear, and make "contact" only to keep charging their credit cards but never deliver any more goods and never answer emails or phone calls ever again. These low-down FILTHY thieves should be in jail for what they did AND be forced to send back everyone's money. They are evil, heartless (w)itches. I feel very sorry for anyone who got caught up in this. The same thing happened to me too, only it was a clothing site, not the "Diet Divas" site. May they rot and reap what they sow.

My daughter and I were lifetime members of DD about 6yrs. ago, i had not been on it long but it was working good for me. Right after starting I had some major life chages and just gave up, and because i quit so did she. I went from 200 lbs to 350 lbs, and my daughter has become a human yo-yo. I am now trying very hard to turn things back around But i cant find my copy of the jumpstart program or the diet i was on. If anyone out there still monitors this site and has copies of the jumpstart or the diet for those of us trying to loose alot of pounds. I would greatly appreciate it If you would email it to me. I am also looking for the diet that my daughter was on.
