Anna Nicole Smith - The Truth About TrimSpa

In a candid interview, Anna Nicole Smith explains what it was REALLY like trying to lose weight with the TrimSpa diet pill. It's an interesting follow-up to this post, when the celebrity first revealed her 'new' shape.

The sad truth of most (if not all) diet pills, is that there are side effects - different for different people. Unfortunately many people tend to abuse the diet pills, causing over-reactions (e.g. Ephedra).

Anna Nicole says "You eat, like, small portions and you do it for, like, two weeks, and also they have a colon cleanser and you're just, like, on the pot all the time... You lose that weight quickly."

Doesn't sound much fun. Trimspa gained a huge amount of exposure from the celebrity endorsement, but I'm afraid that nothing can ever match good ole' healthy diet and exercise for long term weight loss.

Tammy: Are you counting your calories? Are you eating natural food? Are you still going to the gym? You have to understand that staying thin is not just something you do once and put down. It is a lifetime endeavor. Keep going to the gym, keep eating right, and you will stay thin.

To Christian:re: Wife's inability to lose weight
#1: Remember-Muscle weighs more than fat. Is possible that you are only looking at the numbers on the scale instead of looking at the inches lost? If her clothes are fitting loser and better but the scales says that she has not dropped any pounds, then it is definitely due to muscle development (that's a good thing) and much better in the long run! Tell her not to give up.
#2: One word of caution. You didn't say where the weight problem was located. If it's mainly around the middle, then urge your wife to see her OB-GYN immedicately. Please ask her to not only have a pap smear but to be screened and evaluated for the development of fibroids, and a scan to r/o ovarian cancer as well along with HPV.
#3: Finally, after she gets everything checked out and cleared...surprize your wife. Take her to a nice hotel/spa with fabulous room service...get her something in her favorite color or two; order strawberries or other fresh fruit than can be dipped in something fabulous (White chocolate,Yogurt with nuts& honey) and feed your women, and love her fiercely.
And if money or time is tight...Make some time...rub her down with some scrubbing salts, thrown some flower petals on the bed (doesn't have to be roses), get a few candles(those little ones that melt down onto the safety dishes from Johnson and Johnson's will do just fine).
Pick up some dinner on the way home, kick the kids out, and/or get someone to clean up the place later on...like a couple of days later because you don't want to spoil the grove!!!!.
Come on man, maybe this experience will teach both of you that loving someone goes way beyond the #'s on a scale. And maybe she had gotten so depressed because she has tried so hard to look like the person who you wanted her be...and maybe without realizing it, your face had registered some dissapointment. She's probably become frightened that you won't love her unless she meets some magic # on the scale. You need to love her enough to take away the fear away.
Have a little faith!

OK everyone, please listen up! Seems like alot of you are looking for answers and it looks like no one is telling you the best information. I have experience with few diet pills, but experience, and based on that i want to help anyone who has questions. First off, don't take diet pills unless you have a significant amount of weight to lose! im saying like 25 lbs and over! if you have any less than that, i advise not to, but some of you will do it anyway. Don't do ephedra either? are u crazy?! people have died from cardiac arrest from that and ur a little over weight so u think naive suicide is the answer? ok, no. ill tell you of some safer products that work. My number one choice is Phentermine. It is one of the few on the market that is FDA approved! meaning, its alot safer and doctors have approved it. Only people with significant amount of weight should use this product tho. It does have side effects, everyone is different. its very expensive tho, but worth it and please dont exceed a month of its use or there will be worse side effects.
Another good one that im using now is NV. I have heard that it doesnt do anything for some, maybe its just in my mind, but i have a smaller appetite now and lost lbs within days.
Don't use trimspa. there were several cases of women who took it and had bad throat infections. apparently the coating of the pill sticks to your throat and esophagus and starts to swell. one women had to have a serious surgery. So id be pretty f*cking scared to take that.

Whatever diet pill you use, follow the directions perfectly. Its really not worth it to chow them down.

I have so many more answers so if you have more questions, email dquiles9@aol.com

id love to help!

in reading the intro I find it strange that after proving that Anna Nicole Smith was able to lose weight and share with us how she did it. You then say well, I guess it doesn't sound musch fun. When was dieting much fun? And nothing beats good ole exercise?
She did.
It just seems people do not want to see what is in front of them. She had a huge weight loss. Why not give this lady credit? Jealous are you?

Hi, im 15 and i want to try trimspa but im scared i weight around 125lbs and im short...5'0 iv tried everything and i cant lose weight. I recently bought trimspa pills and wanted to share it with my sister Brittany who is 14 whos tall and about 135 lbs. Im sick of people telling me to just eat right bc i have and iv been excercising everday and i c[...]

I worked at trimspa, at your age you are better off not taking trimspa even the company recommends that you not take it when a teen. They had one woman call to order the product for their daughter and actively discouraged the mother from making the purchase.

Like any product if taken to extremes it is going to cause problems. I know you can now get it in stores but there was a time when you had to call to order trimspa and when you did they asked a variety of questions and some people were told it would be better if they did not take the product.

Also results vary, and it has worked for some, for others if it works you start taking it again and your weight goes right back on.

As for those who say just eat right and exercise, obviously do not know what they are talking about. That works for SOME people just as fad diets and diet pills work for SOME people.

I have been monitered 3 times for my diet and exercise, and the teen years when it is supposedly easier to lose weight, I ate the healthiest diet a person could eat, I did a fast walk of 4 miles a day and rode a bike for a few miles a day. I built muscle under the fat and gained weight. Weight which I never lost.

Eating right and excercise may cause weight loss in a safe slow healhty way, it may not, but what it will do is that if you are overweight you at least will be healthier and better able to live and enjoy your life.

Eating right doesn't mean eliminating all foods you like it means altering how you eat things.

One thing to be very careful of because as it turns out this is what messed up my system so badly don't stop eating, don't skip meals, this does slow the metabolism down, and it can be next to impossible to get it active again.

Tara, don't go by weight, go by size, often when you start exercising you do go through a period where you start to build muscle and will take a few months, during this time before you start to see a change, the NUMBERS on the scale are not completely accurate because while ten pounds of fat and ten pounds of muscle weight the same, they are not the same size.

Try a tape measure, or even a piece of yarn or string, find out your measurements size of thighs, arms, waist, and in a month or two of the exercise program then try again. The scale may show the same weight but it is likely that your size will be smaller, unless your exercise program is for body building.

I weigh 263lbs and im 5'4'' i have tried diet but to no avail. I have also tried excersise, but lets face it i can't move that well. I have tried not eating for days on end but it only makes my body store more fat the next time i eat in order to prepare for the fast. I tried diet pills and they def did not work. All i did was feel bad and depressed. No one at school thinks im pretty and boys call me the BIG McNasty. Im feel as if i want to die.. i mean who would miss a 263lbs hippo??? noone that is who..

Tiffany, you are more than your weight. You have more value than a number on the scale. If you want to lose weight, maybe you should try talking to a doctor. He/she can help lead you on the right way, and yes, you can do it. 5 years ago I was 230lb and 5'2", and I lost the weight without drugs or surgery.

we are a society obsess with weight, i am not saying that fat is attractive but been too skinny ain't either. As for the young women on the site who are under 18 your weights are healthy weight and you are still kids whether ot\r not you want to accept that. you should be enjoying your teenage years instead of been society obess with your weight who on this site thinks niclo richie is attractive. My daughter is 13 yrs old and she is fine. you have time to lose the weight just enjoy your life. at 135 for most of you is healthy weight. stop the craziness and please enjoy your teenage years. Plus these diet pills and celebrities are paid to make you buy their products it's hype do not fgall for it. the kind of money they spend to actually lose that weight is the money you will only be able to earn maybe in two years of working. just enjoy life you will forever be on a diet and miss out on enjoying life and the joys of trying new things which includes food. you do not have to be skinny to be healthy exercise and watch what you eat.

THERE IS NO MAGIC PILL THAT WILL MAKE YOU FIT.

Wake up and smell the coffee. Fitness is a lifestyle, not a fad, and moderation in all things is the key.

Pharmaceutical and 'diet food' companies WANT you to be fat...they're out to make money, not to help you. Get a clue!

If you want to shed those extra pounds, get off the couch, go to the cupboard and throw away the bag of Doritos, stop going to the fast food places and get out and excercise. If that's too hard for you, then take small steps...if you're going to Taco Bell, park at the farthest point away you can and walk in. Going to the movies? Skip the popcorn and candy...better yet, bring your own bottle of water and call it good.

Eat right (healthy heart foods) and you'll find that you have more energy, sleep better and eventually you'll train yourself to not need the junk we're constantly putting in our bodies.

If you're a teenager, you're brainwashed if you think a pill is your answer. You've got the internet, educate yourself and you'll have a much better life.

Hey Alex! Stop tsking the Trimspa!! Clean up your diet a little and move more. That way you will learn something that will last you for your life and not be just a temporary fix or worse a danger to you. Every successfully fit person eventually learns this or continually fails.

The only diet pill that worked was Stacker 2 before the took the good stuff out. I lost 47 pounds in 3 months eating 22oz steaks and bunches of fries. I felt like I was on speed and I got allot of house work done. Now nothing will work.

I am 25 and weigh more now than I every have in my life. I am about 5'5 almost 5'6 , with a medium frame. I have never been skinny. While I was a teen I weighed from 127-137 lbs. A little more when I worked out. I Got pregnaunt really young (15). And gained a few sizes . Went from a 7/8 to 11/12. Which really was ok, I still had a nice shape ,of corse not happy but I remember I still looked good. Then I got on that stupid depo shot and gained from 165 to 190 and the more depressed I got over it the more I ate and the more I ate the more I gained and then the more I gained the more the cycle went around. Then I got of the shot and got rid of a bad relationship and stayed around 175, about a size 12. or 13/14 sometimes an 11. If I was lucky I could wear a ten. Well I stayed from 165-175 for a while and was relativily happy. as long as i didn't go out of my range. Well now I got in this relationship. Gained from the 175 to 225. I couldn't believe the docs scale. I have never been out of the juniors department and now I have to buy plus. For the first time ever. The only thing I ever had on my side was saying At least i can still shop in the juniors department. Well I went back down last year when we broke up for a while down from 217 to around 190 or so . I was so happy I could where my 12s again. (tighter though) But the point is i could finally put them on. We got back together and I just started gaining , never weighed myself until I went to the doc for it, when I couldn't wear any of my clothes. My doc prescribed phenermine. I have taken before but had horrible experiance. ya i lost weight but at the expense I didn't even care about it anymore or anything. But because I weighted that day 228 , more than I care to admit I was devistated and was ready to take the meds. I have been on it for three weeks. Not as dramatic as before because I weigh about 60 lbs more the last time I took it. Anyone I know who has taken it has lost like 6-8 lbs in a little over a week if not sooner. I was dissappointed but It actually is good,I don't have the terrible appitite like before. And I can still eat. I have started eating healthy. And that is something I have never done. IT is becoming a habbit and I m happy about it. My boyfriend has never said a think about my weight but he has complimented me on how I look like I have lost weight. I can tell but i don't brag so someone won't say to hurt my feelings that they don't see the loss. I have read that they do the same things to your body as amphetimines. WHICH Is not good. But it was a last resort. I can't be any fatter than i was. I feel better even if I have only lost maybe 8-10 lbs. For all those who hate to eat healthy. I have finally found an easy way. I hate tuna but I have been eating them on Saltines with some salsa and it is so filling, I guess due to the protein. And weight watcher meals. THEY are sooo good. and they even have dessert. I have stopped drinking soda and found a diet soda I can't live without. Diet black cherry vanilla coke. WEird but I only drink soda on the weekend when I splurge a little and skip the pills. These hopefully will help some of you guys believe me. I know the struggle it was so consuming and now I just take it little by little. The healthy way. Maybe soon I will finally walk on my brand new 2 year old treadmill!!1 Good luck everyone
