New York mayor no fan of Atkins diet
Yahoo News: "Atkins is dead. I don't believe that ... he dropped dead slipping on a sidewalk. Yeah right," New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg said
He went on to describe a fund-raising dinner at Atkins' house on Long Island about two years ago.
"The guy was fat ... And the food was inedible. I took one appetizer and I had to spit it into my napkin. It was just terrible," Bloomberg said.

That is one of the most offensive things i have heard in a long time by a public figure. He should have more sense than that..the only word i can think of now to describe michael bloomberg wouldn't be appropriate to post or even say-hey at least i have some sense! I can't believe he would say something like that about someone esspecialy so soon after his death. I feel sorry for Dr. Atkin's widow ..people apologize after telling offensive jokes..why should bloomberg a.k.a (jerk) be any different. All i can say is im glad i dont live in new york and hes not my mayor!
