BMI isn't as accurate as people think it is, that's for sure. My BMI is somewhere around 18, which puts me at normal, but I am pretty "underfat" according to body fat charts. A lot of athletic people come out as being overweight according to BMI because of increased musculature that isn't accounted for in the equation.
