Low-Carb Hamburgers from Carl's Jr. and Hardee's
USA Today: "Low-carb mania may reach new highs Monday when the Hardee's and Carl's Jr. hamburger chains announce plans to introduce the fast-food world's first low-carb burgers. The big bunless burgers — one-third to half a pound — will come wrapped in large leaves of iceberg lettuce for a handhold on the burger and fixings."

To order an In-N-Out burger without a bun, ask for it "Protein Style" and you'll get your sandwhich wrapped in a slice of lettuce just like in the photo.
A "Flying Dutchman" consists of two beef patties and two slices of cheese, nothing else.
ReplyI wanted to let your company know that my wife and I think your commercial with the fetus complaining about hot food is terrible. For a company that is based on something tasting good, that commerical is in bad taste. We actually turn the channel when it comes on. You should know how some of the public feels and in turn notify your advertising company.
ReplyHuh? I've no idea what ad you are talking about. Presumably something from Carls Jr or Hardees. Anyone know? Diet-Blog isn't quite up to advertising anywhere yet.
ReplyI'm absolutely FURIOUS about OBSCENE Carls, Jr. AD that was on TV tonight on "The Apprentice", featuring Paris Hilton! It was PORNOGRAPHIC in NATURE, and was TOTALLY OBSCENE!
SHAME on BOTH Donald Trump AND also NBC for AIRING it! It's ALL about the ALMIGHTY DOLLAR and plus TV RATINGS!

ReplyJust saw the ad for Carl's Jr. Want to let you know I did frequent Carls for the Low Cal Hamburgers, but not any more. I will be emailing those I talk to and letting them know how I feel about this. You just lost one customer for sure over this.
