Introducing the Stone Age Diet
The Independent: "Forget Atkins, abandon the other modern fads, and get stuck into the Stone Age diet. It may be more than a million years old, but a regime of organic meat, or a leg of game bird, accompanied by fresh leaves, nuts and fruit, washed down with water, is just about perfect for the human body. Researchers in evolutionary medicine have come up with the healthiest diet for humans, and while it does include lean meat and fresh fish, there is no milk, cheese, or any other dairy products, and the fat count is low."

MY DR. HAS PUT ME ON THIS STONE AGE DIET DUE TO A PLUMANRY COLD I HAVE HAD ALONG WITH TRYING TO DETOX MY SYSTEM FROM MAY BE FOOD ALLERGIES. HE HAS ME ON CHICKEN, COLD WATER FISH - SALMON - PERCH - TUNA ALONG WITH BOTTLE WATER - FRESH VEG. MY QUESTION IS I NOTICED I SHOULD BE DRINKING BOTTLE WATER IN GLASS BOTL. MY DR.
ReplyON THE RARE FOOD ALLOWED I NOTICED THERE WAS NOTHING ABOUT EGGS OR WHEAT IS THIS ALLOWED
I believe eggs are okay - but all grain products (including wheat) are definitely out. The whole idea of paleo diets is that they are pre-agrarian culture - that is - before any farming.
ReplyRemember that the stoneage man found in the alps had grains in his stomach. Some grains should therefore be ok.
