Renee Zellweger for $100,000 a Pound
Weight Watchers has reportedly offered Renee Zellweger over $3 million, or $100,000 a pound, to shed the thirty pounds she gained for her role in the Bridget Jones movie sequel.
ITV: "Weight Watchers wants the 34-year-old to join Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson for its advertising campaigns after she finishes filming the sequel this Christmas. She would work alongside the Duchess of York in some TV and newspaper adverts while doing others alone."

I don't know which is more wrong: weight watchers offering this deal to Zellweger or the idea of Zellweger taking it up! Zellweger lost her weight on the Atkins diet. Weight watchers exploiting Zellweger's changing body size to promote their own diet would be false advertising. It would send the message to millions of plump women that "weight watchers really does get you that thin". It doesn't. Fact is, *no one* in Hollywood gets that slim by counting calories alone.
