Plus-Size People, Plus-Size Stuff

CBS News: "Increasingly, companies are making bigger products for America's bigger people, customizing everything from caskets to seat belts. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 20 percent of Americans are considered obese. While some researchers say the products can help overcome the stigma of being overweight, others suggest they might encourage obesity by making extra-large the norm."

I've noticed this trend too. Vanity sizing in clothes is making it harder and harder for me to find clothing that actually fits. Also, cars are being built with bigger seats, longer seat belts, etc. What incentive is there for people to lose weight if everything is upsized for them?
