Pizza Hut to Offer Healthier Slices
Pizza Hut has introduced their new Fit 'N Delicious pizza. They say it is a better-for-you pizza with about 25% less fat than its comparable Thin 'N Crispy pizza.
The key difference: less cheese, more sauce and fewer fatty toppings. The pizza also has 30 fewer calories per slice — about the number of calories in one serving of regular Jell-O.The pizzas have half the cheese of regular Thin 'N Crispy and more tomato sauce. Vegetables or lean meats replace fatty toppings such as pepperoni or sausage. A typical slice from a large Fit 'N Delicious pizza has 150 calories vs. up to 450 calories per slice from Pizza Hut's Stuffed Crust pizza.
Pizza Hut is the first major chain to market a better-for-you pizza nationally. The move comes as the fast-food industry is doing cartwheels to make menus more appealing to the health conscious. Until now, the pizza giants were on the sidelines, quietly customizing pizzas for calorie counters.
Fast-food executives say they're responding to consumer demands — the target market for Fit 'N Delicious is women ages 29-54.

I think it tastes great and for a Weight Watcher a very good choice at only 3 pts. per slice of the LARGE pizza! Kudos to Pizza Hut!
