If paying off all your debt seems impossible, you are twice as likely to be overweight, and two and half times more likely to be obese.

Call me insensitive, but if someone is on food stamps, I assume they're hungry, underfed and skinny, not at increased risk of becoming obese!
It's ironic, but it may be true. A new study shows a "strong linkage" between U.S. Food Stamp Programs and weight-gain.
So, what's the problem? It comes down to money. Food stamps might feed you, but not feed you healthfully.

We all know that pregnancy causes weight gain. What researches have discovered though, is that this doesn't just affect women: fathers-to-be put on weight too!
According to a survey of five thousand men in the UK, the average weight gain was 14lbs (6.35 kg) - equating to an extra two inches on the waist.

The Eating Late at Night Myth: We're Not Gremlins

With the holiday season in full swing, a reference to the classic '80s film "Gremlins" seems most apropos. If you'll recall, owning a gremlin (well, in Gizmo form, that is) required following some very specific rules, chief among them being that you cannot, under any circumstances, feed them after midnight. OK, no problem. They don't get to eat after midnight. No big deal. But, what about us humans? Why is it that we've been told, for so many years, that we shouldn't eat late at night, either? Will we turn into gremlins if we do?
