Egg Commercial Banned: Too Unhealthy
The UK egg industry has been banned from airing commercials called "Go to Work on an Egg". The TV ads were used in the 1950s to promote egg consumption.
The British ad watchdog Ofcom stated:
"This concept of eating eggs every day for breakfast unfortunately goes against what is now the generally accepted advice of eating a varied diet. We therefore could not approve the ads for broadcast." (src)» Continue...
