In 2008, Director Kevin Smith, a.k.a. "Silent Bob," acknowledged his weight had gotten out of control, after he broke a toilet.
"I cannot cognitively reframe it and be like, 'It wasn't me -- it was the toilet.' It was definitely me," he told the Los Angeles Times.
Two years later, Smith's still struggling with his weight ... and with seats. This time it's an airline seat. Southwest Airlines recently kicked Smith off a flight for being a "safety risk."
As for Smith, he isn't taking the insult sitting down.

Airlines: No Extra Charges Allowed for Overweight Passengers
The Supreme Court of Canada has upheld a decision to force Canadian airlines to charge the same rate for disabled passengers needing a personal attendant, as well as obese passengers. I think most people would agree that the ruling for the disabled passengers is a positive one. I suspect that most people are not as compassionate when it comes to the overweight. Cue the can of worms...
